Purchased this to assist my mom getting into her bed after a new mattress was a bit too high for her. It is very sturdy, stays in place and well made. I can see it being useful for all sorts of areas when you just need a boost. I kind of expected less for the price, but I was pleasantly surprised. Would highly recommend.

After having both hips replaced and a broken femur, this is a god-send. The handle keeps me safe when I stand on it. Sturdy.

I assembled this (I am 81) as a gift for my daughter-in-law to use so she could reach the dryer in the stacking washer and dryer, to reach upper cabinets in the kitchen so she does not need to climb on the counters, and they use it so I can get in and out of their tall vehicles. They have a camping van where the bed is up high, and they use it when getting in and out of bed when they camp. The handle is a safety feature and also an easier way to transport the stool from place to place.
