These are the greatest alarms yet that I have purchased to scare the bears away from my house in the mountains of NC! I can't say enough about how good they are especially the choices of sounds to use. The solar keeps them working during the night. Very easy to use, has a hand remote to turn them off and on if need be. Bears don't like them for sure, especially the young ones. Works on other wildlife, like deer, but they aren't worrisome except on my plants, where these are effective as well. Highly recommended by me! I bought 1, then several more to reach 4. May need a couple more this summer!

these seemed to work well for an entire 4 days. Then stopped working. So will see if they need a charge and try again. If not then will send the back before the date to send them back hits. Disappointed as they seemed to be working.

The deer have been a nightmare in my garden for the last 2 years, eating and destroying just about everything I plant. This is the only solution that has actually worked. No deer in the garden since we set it up! It has a good range and covers my entire garden (25 x 55 ft). However, it does nothing to deter the birds from eating my blueberriesor the seeds I plant in the ground! I'm not sure if they are too small to set off the motion sensors from that distance or if they just don't care, but, it is not effective against small birds. It works at night and durong the day and I have not had any problems with the solar charger. Overall, it is effective.

Did not scare the turkeys away. I think they are deaf or use to these sounds. They would walk right up to the alarm.

It looks like a decent made product.There's no way it's even close to 130db noise with any of the 13 sounds. Not even close. About the same sound pressure of a loud voice. Not shouting or yelling even, just a loud talker. The sensitivity is not all that great. set up 1' off the ground and my cat doesn't trigger it when walking within 3'. I don't trigger it until I'm within maybe 8'. It will trigger off me if I raise it higher, maybe to 4' off the ground, then it will trigger at 12'. But then nothing close to the ground, no matter how big, is going to trigger it.I'm going to use it to keep deer out of my yard. I have a motion activated security camera, so I'll be able to record the deer's reaction to the sound. Since we have several deer every night, shouldn't take me long to discover if it will scare deer away. I have it on the 'lion roar' sound.IF you want to use it indoors, then it's loud enough. If you want to use it outdoors, it's not all that loud. It still might scare off someone or some critter though.

Have them on my hillside and they work great
