Works as it should, I was trying to stabilize fresh eggs since the yolks travel when boiling. For store bought eggs, does prevent breaking when boiling.

I wished I had one of these years ago! Keeps the eggs from banging together and cracking. Easy to lift with the enclosed hook from the hot water to the ice water. Eggs come out perfectly!

I was debating between this item vs an electric egg cooker. This item does the job and no eggs broken with the boiling process. But there is no difference with peeling eggs- the shell is still hard to remove.

Zero issues using the egg holder. Worked as designed keeping eggs from bouncing around the pot. Retrieval from the hot water was a no-brainer as well using the included handle.

Boiling water works just as well as this contraption, actually as the water keeps them moving so they cook evenly. Besides, eggs still do not peel easily even after ice bath. And I used VERY fresh eggs, right from the market and cold. Not worth it imho.
