High price but high quality.
High price but just can’t beat the quality. 100% cocoa makes any type of baking taste sooo much better than the stuff offered in grocery stores. Our Acme market used to carry it, but can no longer find, so thanks for offering at Amazon. Personally use this cocoa for making chocolate Pizzellis and people often ask what I added to make them taste so good — shhhh! It’s simply the Ghirardelli cocoa (plus add a good vanilla like Watkins). Anything with baking it’s best to use quality ingredients. Also occasionally add a pinch of this cocoa to my chili to enhance a rich flavor.

Ghirardelli always has the richest cocoa flavor. As a baker by trade, it's the best affordable brand. Can't go wrong.

Great product!
Outstanding! I’ve been making my own hot chocolate mix (1 part unsweetened cocoa powder to 2 parts bakers or regular granulated sugar) for years! I make a cup of hot chocolate every morning for my son - who’s now 24 years old! I warm about 10 oz milk in the microwave. Then in a small bowl, I spoon about 3 T of hot chocolate mix with 6 tsp warm milk to make a slurry. Then, I pour the chocolate back into the cup of warmed milk. Since the ingredients are few, I use the best cocoa powder I can get…which is Ghiardelli Unsweetened Cocoa Powder! I also use it in my chocolate buttercream frosting!
