Very sticky, must have for wood decking
I had zero issues getting this to stick to my framing, great coverage. This should help the deck stand up to the weather.

A good product described as it is
This taped worked great under our Trex decking. It was super sticky, but rollable and easy to cut.

Good price, product seems to work.
Was replacing the deck boarding, and noticed that the only places that were rot was between double joists, e.g., where two boards were nailed together. So the idea of covering the seams between the boards to prevent water penetration makes sense to me. Not possible to determine whether the tape will actually hold up and prevent water from getting between boards, but the application was easy, the tape stuck on its own for a number of days before I was able to get it all covered up with boards, and the pricing and delivery was great. So from what I can tell, all is good for now.

Great value
Tape at the big box stores got do expensive that I decided to try this to save money. It does not stick quite as well as high end tape but the stick was adequate. It was easy to apply and appears to provide good protection. It is almost as good as high end tape at half the price so I highly recommend it and will use it going forward.

Can I give it 6 stars?
I'm building a 1800+ sqft deck, so I've got LOTS of joists (66) and bridging to deal with. I went through a lot of frustration covering the beams with tape, so I was hoping not to be dealing with backing that shreds when you try to pull it off. This tape rocks! It's easy to peel a corner and the backing came off in one piece on the first 30 runs. My contractor needs me to give him a starting run of just 2' (long story). I was able to cut 30 two foot sections and it took me less than three "picks" at each corner to release the backing. It sticks to the wood but still gives you a few tries to reposition (not after you apply pressure though). The only downside is that it takes multiple tears to remove the label. I didn't dock them a point for this, but I've got 6" tape from a different supplier and the labels come off in one easy piece.

Adequate?
Received my order, both 2” and 4”, which all were the “Reverse Roll” with “improved stickiness”.Tape backing did not come off evenly, often the backing would split making it necessary to chase pointed ends of backing to expose all of the adhesive side.It WOULD NOT stick to the sides of the deck joists no matter how many times we tried to press and rub it down. It didn’t matter if the joist was dry or still a bit damp from the morning dew.My speculation is that the joists are better for having the tape than not, but I wish it would have stuck over the edges and to the sides.
