When I got it the four screws that hold the motor housing were loose, or so I though. The screws in front stripped the housing so it often backs out causing the actuator to spin but not extend nor retract. I glued it in place so a return is out of the question. Wish they would do a better job.

Use this for an automatic lock of my outdoor gate. Works great !

It's a great device and seems solid and well made. I would recommend. That said, in my application it's not working as well as I had hoped. I'm using the actuators to operate the dump valves on my RV. They are struggling a bit to move the valves. I'm going to try and boost the voltage a bit to see if they work better. Also, it would be nice if the limit stop switches exposed a wire that would make contact to ground when the limit switch is activated. When the actuator is not visible or is remote, there is no way to tell if it has reached its full extension or retracted positions. So it's hard to verify if it's actually working properly. Other than that it is a good product.

Design and production of linear actuator and controller done very well. Small electronic board consist limit switch, over current protection & voltage . I used for automation small damper 6"x12". Actuator worked well for an application that I needed to open a cabinet door.
