Edited: The paper quality varies widely within the sheet. Some parts are almost water repellent that ink just beeds up while other places show feathering. Overall while it seems to have decent performance with fountain inks, the inconsistent nature makes it unsuitable for anything other than scribbling down temporary info and throwing them out. _____ This is no Tomoe River paper but it has some nice properties that could be your best or worst cheap paper. Extremely low. GSM is possibly less than 50. Noticably thinner than classmate note paper. Excellent with fountain pen ink. Used moderately wet black ink with a medium nib and it held up great. No feathering nor bleedthrough and barely any showthrough. Poor man's Tomoe? If you just want to jot down notes and place them between you book, would be excellent with its thinness. Not suited for use as a note pad as it tears away as sheets easily and ball pens will leave impression when written with force
