I have a Weber Genesis Gold B gas grill that's over 20 years old and has been through several different grate replacements. I previously tried porcelain-enameled cast iron grates, which were nice, but have rusted away over about 5 years. I decided to try these stainless-steel grates, specifically because I was looking for the heavier duty 9mm thick stainless-steel rods that these use. I've been using these grates for over a year now and am very pleased with their performance. There has been no significant rusting. I get nice char lines when cooking meats, although thinner than those obtained with my flat-topped cast-iron grates. Because the round shape of the rods limits the amount of surface contact with the food, I find that food sticks far less often. Even if there is a little sticking, it's relatively easy to pry it up with a spatula without destroying the food. I guess I am a convert. Whenever these wear out, I'll be replacing them with another set of stainless-steel 9mm rod grates. These grates are well made, and the stainless steel appears to be of high quality. It's so nice when something works the way you hope it will!

These grates fit perfectly. They are heavy and feel very sturdy so I expect them to last a long time. Great price for a quality product!

Comes in two sections. I did not use it on the grill it was designed for so I can’t attest to the fit. It was used to replace an expanded metal grill. Works great in that application. Heavy duty and well built.
