Dyson966489-01 V6 Cleaner Head, Purple

This hardwood floor motorhead is the perfect replacement for the one I had that kicked the bucket. I have a 10 year old DC59 that is still going very strong, but started smelling funny because the motor in my old attachment was beginning to go. The official Dyson website doesn't sell this attachment anymore, so I'm happy to have found it here. IMy 10 year old vacuum is brand new again and a joy to use!

I’ve had my DC72 V6 for 7 years, and it’s been a great vacuum - always cleans well. I have a full suite of tools, hose, and accessories for it, including the flat-out floor tool...but have always wanted the fluffy floor tool because it’s the best on hard floors. I have to say...if you have hardwood floors, the fluffy soft roller is a necessity! It dusts the surface as you go, and won’t scratch.Due to the age of my machine I was prepared to just upgrade to a v11 absolute and replace my v6. But after extensive research...I realized the v6 is actually a case of newer isn’t always better! When looking at purely suction performance (air watts)...no other Dyson stick has the suction power of the v6 on the lowest power/longest runtime setting! The v6 is 28 AW...2nd best is the v11 at 26 AW - all other models in between are rated lower! Now, yes the max power AW ratings differ and are higher than the v6, but I don’t know anyone who runs their Dyson on Max mode all the time...especially when you only get less than 10 mins runtime. I also rarely if ever use Max power on my v6 because I never find it’s needed. With that new found knowledge, I happily invested in this genuine fluffy head accessory. I also snagged a new-in-box v6 motorhead on eBay, so I’ll have 2 units. My original battery still holds a long charge after 7 yrs...likely because I don’t leave it on the cradle all the time. Regardless, spare parts are abundant for the v6 line, so I feel pretty future proof for the next 5+ years. New batteries can be had with 2x the run capacity as well. The style of the v6 is also lighter and more nimble to use than the v10/11 design, albeit you sacrifice bin capacity. Not a big deal for me.Just know that tools/attachments from the v7/v8/v10/v11 lines will NOT fit the v6. Older DC45 non-power tools are compatible with the v6.Long live the Dyson V6!!

Grundsätzlich ist die Bürste im Ergebnis super. Auch gut verarbeitet und wirklich ein Mehrwert - würde ich sofort wieder kaufen.Da mir der Hinweis oder die Transparenz in der chaotischen Welt der Dyson Steckverbindungen fehlte aber ein wichtiger Hinweis: Die Aussage in einigen Kommentaren hier, dass die Bürste auf ALLE V6 passt ist falsch. Es gibt beim V6 tatsächlich 3 verschiedene Steckvarianten (schmal, breit und spezial). Dabei geht es um den U-förmigen Steg unter den beiden Kontakten im Stecker.Der Absolut (SV05) unterscheidet sich in der Wattleistung, die der Rollbürste zur Verfügung gestellt wird. Daher ist hier der "Spezial"-Stecker dran. Und da passt diese Bürste nicht.Da es hier nur um die Plastikführung geht, habe ich die seitlichen "Flügel" des Plastiks einfach entfernt. Dann passt diese Bürste und läuft auch gut. Muss man sich überlegen, ob man ein solches teures Teil kauft und dann was absägt. Bei mir hat es geklappt und ich bin zufrieden. Nur die Info wäre wertvoll gewesen, da ich die Komplexität bei verschiedenen Varianten einer Saugergeneration echt nicht erwartet habe.Wer "Dyson V6 Kompatibilitätsprobleme" online sucht, der findet einen guten Blogartikel mit Fotos, der mir sehr geholfen hat.

Exactement ce que je cherchais.alors que j'avais des difficultés avec la brosse motorhead vendue avec le v6 impeccable sur tapis et moquette mais non performante sur son dur, celle ci est nickel, elle aspire tout les débris et je ne dois pas la nettoyer entre chaque aspiration car la brosse est large du coup les poils d animaux sont bien aspire (au lieu de s enrouler autour de la brosse)Je recommande vivement
