Really like this concept and good customer support.
I am editing my review because after the first unit failed after about 3 months the company contacted me and replace the pump that broke. In my book great customer service is huge for product support. The concept is terrific for those small gardens that are not on an irrigation timer system and far from a water source. It keep all of our vegetables alive when we were out of town.

I may have made a mistake making this purchase.
In 20 years I have never left a negative review. When I called Amazon customer support I was told that I had a battery issue and to contact the third party seller because this unit is under warranty. The seller told me that the E2 Error message is for a clogged pump. However the pump is clear, very clear. When I tried to report back, twice, to submit feedback that link was dead. This system was in service for less than three weeks. In my opinion this equipment is worthless and customer service on behalf of the seller is useless. Unless the seller contacts me to try to set this right, my review is actually zero stars. Signed, Still Carrying Water.

This SAVED my potted plants this summer
Easy to use, intuitive settings, more tubing and emitters than I needed. We got a solar watering system for the plants on our new back deck and it worked so well we got this one for the side deck. We set this up shortly before going on vacation and kept our fingers crossed. When we returned after a week, when the daytime temperatures at home were consistently in the 90s, the plants looked great! This system was super easy too set up; we strung the drip lines on cup hooks under the edge of the deck so nothing would get tangled in them. We used a 15 gallon barrel as the reservoir. My sister came by to check on things and refilled the barrel when needed. Even after returning home, this system kept the plants healthy, since I didn't have to remember to water every day. Next year, I will be inspired to add more pots and plants to the side deck, since I have extra parts for this system. Given the cost of plants and the time invested in them, this system paid for itself in one season.

Solar portion works well, irrigation kit is standard
I really like this Lewisia 10W Solar Automatic Drip Irrigation Kit. I got it because I ran out of space in the garden closest to my house and had to go further up the hill where it's difficult to get water. I needed something to water the potato plants I had up there without me having to haul water or remember them all the time. This Solar Drip Irrigation system worked great for it. I put a large rain barrel next to the plant, ran this system down the line of plants, put the hose in the barrel, and now I just come back and check them every few days and add water to the barrel if needed. It worked very well. I recommend this product.

E3 code? edited with solution to issue
E3 code keeps coming up and the pump pulses and then conks out. If you repeatedly turn it on and off it will catch and water you plants. I have pulled a dripper off at the farthest point and it is moving water, it just will not do it continuously. There is no E3 code in the manual and nobody seems to know what it means. Edit: After contact from the company, I changed to a 4 star. Make sure you have enough drippers on the line. They recommend 40. I did that and it worked. Also, I figured out I put the drippers on the water line to tight and they weren't moving the water as designed. Once I corrected my setup it is working just fine.

Inconsistent
I bought two for my greenhouse and they’re great. I bought three more for the outside beds and they’re not. Also one just up and died all together. Very inconsistent product. Low and uneven water pressure for longer tube use.

Great for remote locations
I have a location with no power and a lot of sun I have been using for vegetable growing. This system will fill those gaps so I don’t have to haul water down so much. I have used these before that are battery powered and they generally last about a year. I am hoping this will exceed that. Tip. If you clean your tubing regularly (2-3 months) they tend to last longer. Hard water will also cause issues with these so watch for deposits. This unit was relatively easy to set up and should last a while. I am currently only irrigating 6 large pepper plants with this now. This would be perfect for someone growing vegetables that are a bit away from it all or those folks who like to grow grandpas special cabbage and don’t want much attention:-)

E1 Code? Doesn't pump
E1 code? Firing up the system after winter and it flashes E1 and does not pump. I am unable to find the code list anywhere...

Beginner gardener here, so far this system works great! Instructions for assembly were a little confusing, watched one YouTube video and was able to figure it out pretty quickly. Lots of tubing left over from doing this entire bed, my plants and I are pleased.

Error code E3 comes up on startup. Not explained in manual. I asked what it means in an Amazon question and learned it means battery not charged enough. After weeks of sun exposure same problem. Asked if product is defective. No answer after several days. Manual also leaves important installation questions unanswered. How tightly should drippers be installed? Appears to work, but for how long?

Well I have just spent the weekend trying to get this to work. The problem appears to be that the system does not have enough power to pump the water through the small bore piping. The pump comes on, whines for a few seconds and then shuts down (and displays “E3”). However if I disconnect the pipe work then a jet of water comes out of the pump. I’ll keep in going and try and sort it out - but I wish I had been able to buy the German equivalent (search amazon.de for “Esotec Waterdrops Professional Solar” ). But Amazon will not deliver this outside of Germany / continental Europe And it is very noticeable that many of the positive reviews of this product are linked to “Vine Customer Review of Free Product”

The system was relatively easy to set up but the E3 error code and warning is hard to find a solution for. It's not listed in the directions and can't reach the company!!! Very frustrated with this!!! Not sure if the system is working to full capacity, however it is providing some irrigation but stopped when we were away for 2 days and my all my plants wilted
