**UPDATED REVIEW 12/20/2024** BEAUTIFUL! Perfectly matched to my device, and SO eye catching!
I’m updating my review a second time because I want to talk about how Spigen deals with customers when something goes wrong with one of their products. There is a spring pin that keeps the buckle and tang assembly attached to the band. Yesterday, while taking my watch off my wrist one end of that pin broke off, causing the buckle to just fall off the band. I went to Spigen’s web site and emailed customer support with the issue, asking if they could guide me by telling me what kind of pin I’d have to buy to fix the band. That pin holds the buckle on AND the tang, so I assumed it’d be a kind of ‘specialty’ item. I gave my Amazon order number, the date I purchased the band, and a brief description of the issue. I also just asked if they could tell me what kind of pin I’d need to buy. Spigen got back to me the same day, asking for a photo of the broken band. I took that photo today and sent it back to them. Just a couple hours later they replied, saying they’re sending me a brand new band to replace the broken one. Just REALLY impressed at how Spigen takes care of the people who buy their products. I protect ALL my Apple electronics with Spigen cases - watches, iPhones, and MacBooks. Can’t imagine trusting my gear to any other company. I'm updating my review after having worn this watchband every day from May 14 2024 until today, July 23 2024 - just over two months. My opinion of this watch band (or Spigen products in general) hasn't changed - it is very comfortable, very durable, and as attractive as the day I first installed it. I've put it through some very active situations, and there are as yet no noticable signs of wear or aging. But, the design of the inner side of the band (next to your skin) has a series of ridges and the holes designed to hold the tongue part of the clasp. These ridges and holes trap sweat and dirt that builds up over time and eventually begin to exude an unpleasant odor, especially if you're a very active user in conditions where you'll sweat a lot. I reckon that'd be the case with any similar type of band, so I don't count this as a cause for reducing my 5-star review. I first noticed the odor (well, it was actually my wife who first noticed it) while on a dinner outing with my wife - juuuuuussst a bit embarrassing. I've learned since that experience to clean the band weekly. The best tool I've found to accomplish this is a stiff-bristle toothbrush, slightly dampened with water. The bristles effectively loosen the built-up gunk in the grooves and holes on the inner side of the band. Afterwards, wipe down the band with a paper towel to remove rest. Oh, and be sure you set that toothbrush aside so it won't be accidentally used in someone's mouth. Yeah, that's a thing. ----------Original Review----------------------------------------------------- The Apple Watch Ultra 2 is a magnificent watch. So WHAT is up with those AWFUL watchbands available for it from Apple? I purchased the Trail band with my Ultra 2, and found that it was VERY difficult to put on and take off - it just wasn't long enough to slide comfortably around my hands. So, I did what I ALWAYS do when I need good looking, rugged accessories for my Apple tech - I went to Spigen. It seems no matter what tech you have, Spigen has the right accessory to suit your needs and satisfy your tastes, be it phone cases, screen protectors, or watch bands. When I saw this band I immediately stopped searching; it was THAT eye-catching. And after having installed it and worn it, I'm even more impressed; it looks like it's OEM, it matches my watch so perfectly. That I've gotten a NUMBER of compliments on how great my watch looks with this band only reinforces my opinion that Spigen has got you covered. The slide-in clips and the metal parts of the band perfectly match my watch in both color and texture. The band itself (I chose the smooth band) is VERY soft and comfortable. The Ultra 2 is a BIG watch, and this band perfectly matches that dynamic. The overall look is one of massive, rugged durability. A friend of mine who loves Apple products but doesn't own a watch was so taken by the appearance of mine he took photos of it to send to his wife; after seeing mine, he's decided he has to have one too, with this same watchband. Great job Spigen! I HIGHLY recommend this watch band for both for its great looks and its comfort. It is certainly one of their more expensive bands, but it is WELL worth the investment.

Initial Review
This is an initial review upon opening the box and "installing" the band on the watch. So far this looks excellent, perfect fit: not too wide, not too thin. The look is absolutely amazing and it makes the watch look more expensive than what it is. The band, even though is rubber, has a texture to the outside that simulates a fabric band (we'll see how this holds up to wear and tear). Also, the thickness is perfect giving it enough flexibility and toughness needed on a watch like this. The rubber band is held into the metal brackets via screws (I imagine it has glue also, I can't tell) The metal brackets have the same finish as the watch itself albeit not the same material was used, however, it is still metal, most likely aluminum. The orange accents on the swivel screws accentuate the orange accents on the watch itself complimenting it. Like I said before, this is an initial review and will update after some wear and tear. Update 05/29/24 Still good, some fraying but normal wear and tear. Good to go. Still 5 stars

It's a chunky one, yet incredible piece of art
Let me start with my sheer astonisment of the craftsmanship and thought put into this strap - I've never seen anything like it! It gives the watch a bulky, yet bold look, hardware matches colorwise to the AWU case and the lugs fit perfectly. Second, it's quite comfortable once you get the exact strap hole to fit, it's quite long and would accomodate larger wrists as well. A friend of mine commented on the Omnitrix (peace 2 Ben 10) kinda look :) The strap is also quite unobtrusive, buckle is great and has Spigen's logo branded, not to mention the orange accents which are such a great thought (they might have gone without them, but they didn't, Spigen guys are really putting their heads into action!). At first, don't be surprised if the strap has an aftificial material smell, it will fade away with time. Writing this review, I cannot stop looking at it with admiration. I don't think there's anything like this on the market and I am sure it was made specifically for the Ultra (although I'll try it on a Series 7 of a friend of mine just to see how it looks). Another thing I've noticed is that the strap is removable (two screws on the top steel elements) so I suppose it can be swapped for a custom leather strap as well (I think it's 26mm width too). With clear conscience I would recommend the strap to AWU users, especially the ones coming from G-shocks and bulky divers - you won't be disappointed, it's that good. In fact, it's perfect, 6 out of 5, period.

Amazing band that enhances the look and feel of your ultra watch, with a couple of caveats
I just received this band, so this review is mainly first impressions. Time will tell in terms of durability. First off, this watch band looks amazing and feels pretty solid. It takes the look of your ultra watch to the next level...as if the ultra watch was designed for this band. It's very comfortable to wear, and just compliments the watch like no other band I've used has. Some things that could be improved: 1. If i shake my wrist, there is a bit of a squeek from the hinges next to the watch connectors. I'm sure that adding a little bit of mineral oil to the hinge will fix this, but just haven't had the time to do that yet. 2. I think because of the hinge, when the watch vibrates it's loud. You don't feel the vibration as much I think due to the fact that the hinges sort of acts as an absorber, but man do you hear it as others have mentioned. It's not the end of the world for me, but I'd be curious if you can tighten the hinges to reduce this some. Overall though, I love this band.

Surprisingly Impressed with Quality and Feel
I’ve bought Spigen phone cases over the last several years and always found them to be good quality, so I thought I’d give this band a try for my Watch. It arrived today and I am very impressed with the quality and finish. We’ll see how it holds up over time - I’ll try to update this review in a month - but immediate feeling is high quality. The lugs lock in place, the buckle is tight and secure, and so far anyway, it’s comfortable to wear. If you know and have been around titanium, like the Watch Ultra, you know titanium has more of a warm / yellow glow to the finish, whereas aluminum is just plain silver. This band components comes very close to matching the titanium of the Watch, but the discerning eye will notice it’s not an exact match. And at $32, it’s totally fine and acceptable. I have no complaints here. Likewise, the orange rings on the band are incredibly close to the orange on the crown of the Watch. It looks great and very cohesive. If I had to lodge any complaint, the only one I’d have is that there are not one, not two, but THREE Spigen logos on the outside of the band. I feel like that’s a little excessive.. but ultimately not a huge deal and not a reason not to buy. Overall, big fan!

Honestly factory quality
Most bands you get here and anywhere will fit a little loosely, have minor issues but are cheap. This costs more than many aftermarket brands, monstrously less than Apple would charge and is legitimately the nicest band I own. I prefer mechanical watches myself and have many, MANY nice straps and bands for my watches including many custom made by a tanner for me. This design, fit and finish and styling is exceptional, it suits what the watch is for PERFECTLY and again meets or surpasses MFG fit and finish 100%. I don’t leave reviews, I wasn’t going to here but I was looking for this again as a gift for someone and decided to post up something as this product deserves praise. Thank you Spigen, you nailed this one. Also, for the unaware, Spigen is a legit brand. There are tons of Amazon garbage that churn out stuff and then when it gets bad reviews they just change the name slightly and relaunch it to dump product and use names like Spiomean or Aesornia and crap, this isn’t that. This is a legit company with a clear good eye on QC.

Not comfortable at all!
Great product except the stitching looks crappy after a few days and with the added metal parts really don’t feel good on the wrist. Especially when you twist the band by accident the metal actually digs into wrist causing pain! Bad design but I see it on a lot of different brands! Don’t recommend! And the smell of the rubber band will stink up your whole room for at least a year or more!

Sturdy and rugged
As someone who's always on the lookout for durable accessories, I recently stumbled upon the perfect match for my Apple Watch: a sturdy watch band that exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I strapped it on, I could tell this band was built to last. Its rugged design offers unparalleled protection, making it ideal for anyone with an active lifestyle or those who simply want peace of mind knowing their watch is secure. What truly sets this band apart is its resilience. Whether I'm hitting the trails for a hike or tackling my daily workout, it stands up to whatever I throw its way. Plus, it's comfortable to wear for extended periods, thanks to its ergonomic design and premium materials. But perhaps the best part of all is its compatibility with the Apple Watch. Not only does it seamlessly integrate with the device, but it also enhances its overall aesthetic, giving it a sleek yet rugged look that's sure to turn heads. Overall, I can't recommend this Apple Watch band enough. If you're in the market for something sturdy and reliable, look no further. This band has quickly become an essential part of my everyday carry, and I have no doubt it'll serve me well for years to come.
