Because so many people use these devices and don't really understand them I thought it might be a good idea to help. This company makes a good charge controller but it is not programmed like a lot of others. I've been using the 80 amp and 100 amp versions for some time with no problem. There is really just one setting to make and that's the maximum charge voltage on the batteries. For LifePo4 I set mine to 14.3 volts and it keeps the batteries charged fine. I'm using four 200ah batteries in parallel on 2.2kw of solar panels split between the 80 and 100 controllers. Both work fine and they actually charge better in lower light than another brand I've tried. If you don't need the power to battery calculated for you, and simple is what you like, I don't think you can go wrong with these controllers. And they DO tell you enough info to calculate power into the batteries by alternately showing the battery voltage and current into them. Power is voltage times current.. I'm just saying if you like reliable, and simple, this is your box.... My 80 amp has been running 24/7 for over 2 years with no problems. I did see it max out on current into the batteries and it self limits without a problem. I was worried the first time I saw that happen as the solar panel array is a little too big for a 80 amp controller. I had 1200 watts on it. Still it does it job and that's whats most important.

At first l thought this unit was a good product. At nine months if use it almost caught fire then stopped working. Called Amazon, as could not reach seller, Amazon gave a number that was DISCONNECTED!!! Thankfully, Amazon refunded the purchase price after l returned the item!!! THEN, upond purchasing a different unit from another company, l found that the new controller produces TWICE the output and was EVEN lesser priced... DO NOT BUY THESE! THEY COULD BURN YOUR HOUSE DIWN!!!

Great product. Needs wifi. And a app. But works great no problems. Love it. Would have payed a little more for a wifi addon.

This unit is a little difficult to read but with some effort I think most people can figure it out. So far it has worked well over the summer and that is all I can ask. I don't know about support because I haven't needed any and that is a good thing. I would buy this one again.

I ordered this controller for my RV that I installed 1215 watts of solar panels on the roof. I liked it because it has a remote for checking performance, but the remotes does not flush mount as do other devices. Instead it screws to the wall using the flange on the back side of the unit and it sticks out from the wall quite a bit. Worse yet, the cable for the remote connects to the top, so once mounted, you would need to cut a hole in the wall above it and bring the cable through to the outer surface of the wall to plug it in. Very unattractive and in the way in an RV that has very little room. I will likely send it back and purchase one with Bluetooth.
