I've used this for the season's yield of 400 litres apple juice. Everything in this press works as it should. Despite being relatively cheap for a 40l hydropress, I have detected no quality or performance issues. The press is more efficient than my hand cranked basket press, producing drier pomace. Whilst the press is, well, pressing you're free to attend to shifting trugs of pulp, carting buckets of juice or putting your feet upIf I was running a commercial enterprise processing bigger volumes of apples I would fork out for a stainless steel hydropress for longevity. This press is coated steel, so there's always the risk of chipping the surface and letting corrosion in. But for a careful one man operation it is perfect, especially given it was half the price of any UK competitor
