Simple device only 3 bolts to drill to install. Lock is substantial built giving a more secure garage door.

A good very solid lock.Installation was a bit difficult as it requires drilling an least two 90 mm deep and 16 mm wide holes in solid concrete for the securing bolts.Luckily my old mains powered Black and Decker drill was up to the job.

Quite expensive, but is insurance rated! It does require a good Masonry drill and bit to drill the holes for the provided masonry bolts. At the end of the day if someone wants to get in to the garage they will, but this will make it pretty difficult, and hopefully put them off

Ich habe mir eine Garage angemietet, die schon rund 50 Jahre alt ist. Erhalten habe ich zwei Schlüssel, so dass man davon ausgehen muss, dass eine unbestimmte Anzahl noch im Umlauf ist. Das Schloss ist aufgrund des Alters nicht mehr zu erhalten, also müssen Motorrad, EBike und Co. anders geschützt werden. Die Hausverwaltung hat mir diese Sicherung erlaubt, und ich muss sagen, das Teil ist spitze! Was hier für schwachsinnige Rezensionen abgegeben werden...also man kann das Schloss nicht direkt vor das Garagentor setzen, denn die Halterung für das Schloss steht natürlich hoch - wie sollte es anders befestigt werden?! Also Kopf einschalten, Bodenplatte anlegen, Tor öffnen - Maß erhalten! Da das schwarze Teil dann nach vorne Richtung Tor vorsteht, KANN das Tor NICHT geöffnet werden, dazu muss es nicht abschließen. Und das ist alles, was zählt. Also selbst wenn ein Vormieter mit Schlüssel das Tor aufschließen kann ist es unmöglich, dieses zu öffnen. Es hält einfach bombenfest! Aber es empfiehlt sich, bessere Dübel zu besorgen. Ich habe mir drei Fischer Dübel M10 besorgt, da die mitgelieferten leider schrottig sind. Trotzdem von mir 5 Sterne! Nachtrag: Es gibt in Deutschland keine Rohlinge zu kaufen, wenn man Nachschlüssel anfertigen lassen will.
