I think this would be a great toy to give for Christmas. I tried it and it works but I need to order some items to fill it and see if the claw can pick it up.

My 7 year old loves this! Comes already put together which is a plus! I bought another before this one and had to assemble it. It was a nightmare! Especially since after assembling it did not work at all!This one is a must buy with fun music and little coins you insert. This will be fun for hours for my daughter.

The first machine I was sent , the chain was broke so the claw wouldn't move. I ordered a replacement and the replacement was not broken , it worked well. My child loves this and plays with it nearly every day. The chain is thin and looks cheap though so I wonder how long this will hold up. I'd recommend a stronger/better chain but other than that, we love it.

I bought this claw machine as a gift for a 10 year old. I tested it before I gave it to him to be sure it worked and would pick up the toys I'd bought for it. It worked ok. The claw was weak and I had to change out some of the toys but the machine was acceptable. I liked that you could use it with or without music and that it worked with either batteries or by USB plug.. . Except that when I purchased D batteries and put the batteries in it - no luck. Nothing. Ok, fine, USB cable it was. Except that it only worked twice with the USB cable before it broke, when you'd put the coins it it would glitch on and then off immediately. I tried different plugs, different usb power adapter blocks (of course it didn’t come with its own) Unfortunately this only happened when my 10 year old nephew opened it and tried it for the 1st time. He was so disappointed and so was I. Over $40 for a piece of junk. Returned and bought a different brand.

I bought this for xmas for my kids and it's sure to be a crowd pleaser. It's easy to set up and use and comes with coins to make it start. It comes with the option of batteries or a USB cable. It's one of the more gender neutral claw machines I've come across. You can use it with or without the music (with music is obviously more fun), beware that the music is LOUD tho. I got it on sale so the price wasn't terrible. My biggest complaint is I wish it came with toys! I did not realize it was toyless when I ordered it or I might have looked for a different one. Luckily I pulled it out of the box to make sure everything worked properly before I put it away till Xmas and saw there weren't any prizes to win so I had time to order in toys for it.

I had my game for about 6 weeks and played with it daily with no problems at all. Then one day the controller levers started to fail. I was past the Amazon 30 day return and figured I was out of luck. Then I called the customer service line from the manufacturer website. They were very nice, told me that I was still covered under their warranty,and asked me to send them a short video clip of the issue. The next day I had an email saying they put me in for a replacement. 3 days later I had a brand new machine. Well done Joyin. That’s how to treat customers and keep them . Sometimes you have problems, its how they’re handled that make the difference between a great company and a bad one . Thank you Leonard!

3 1/2 Stars because price is kinda high. You don't get the little toys to put inside. You just get the machine. That's why I say price point is too high. My 5 and 7 year old Grandson's love it and are totally into Claw Machine's right now. They have put their own little toys in it and it work's great Mom & Dad said! It's made of a hard plastic.

We purchased this for the grandson because every time we are out and he sees a claw machine he wants to play it. So as a birthday present, I thought this would be perfect. I purchased candy and a small bag of goodies to fill it with. Making sure that they were proper size to fit in the claw and work in the machine. My grandson loved it! It comes with little plastic coins to start the machine up and then they can play away. The bottom has a little door where you can get the coins out and reuse them over and over. You can refill this easily, just has a hole in the back where you put things in. No tools needed to put this together at all. It was all one piece. Came with a plug in cord so no replacing batteries at all. Pretty cute little toy.
