Great sunscreen. Slightly white upon application but quickly absorbs and disappears. Stood the test of surfing in Costa Rica. Just buy it!

For anyone considering purchasing this item, I suggest purchasing the three-pack at the subscribe and save price. This option will be the cheapest for each individual container making it a worthy purchase. This sunscreen contains 21% zinc oxide, which is ideal for intense, direct and prolonged sun exposure. It is easy to spread to the face, including easy to spread to facial hair / a beard. The end result is a mild to moderate white cast, including to facial hair / a beard. The high concentration of zinc, the ease of spreading to the skin, and the mild to moderate white cast are the three top reasons why I would recommend this sunscreen. For any fellow bearded man considering purchasing this sunscreen - your beard's Ultraviolet Protection Factor (UPF) is not high enough to protect against UVA radiation and photo damage. Most mineral sunscreens will leave a more noticeable white cast on a man's facial hair / a beard than on skin without facial hair. Some mineral sunscreens blend well into facial hair / a beard, and this sunscreen is one of them. I use a men's face wash to wash it off in the shower; then I use a towel to rub and remove the rest of it off. It is slightly more difficult to remove than some other comparable sunscreens; but I believe this sunscreen is still a good purchase.

Good stuff. It goes on white but the white goes away after a while. Put it on well before you go out. The zync oxide is important. I have very sensitive skin and my dermatologist said make sure your sunscreen has zync.

Pros: it applies easily, a little goes a long way, it works really well. Cons: I don't like the smell on my face. It reminds me of the scent of Elmer's glue. It makes my face look greasy. Therefore, it doesn't look good for regular, daily wear. It would not be a big deal when participating in watersports. For these reasons, I am looking for a different sunscreen specifically for my face. I will continue to use it on other areas of my body. It is necessary to wash my hands after applying it because it feels sticky on my palms. However, it doesn't feel sticky on my face, arms, etc.

I will keep buying this amazing product! Coral reef safe, light on the skin and worked against the sun!

I've tried a few reef safe sunscreens and this is definitely one of the better ones. It's a cream at first but it rubs in "clear". I've tried other types and it leaves a thick white cast, my husband is Italian and he looked like a ghost...this however does not have that effect. We went on vacation with another couple and they continued to asked to use ours because it rubbed in well and protected your skin. I will repurchase.

Excellent product. Very easy to apply, matte finish. Leaves a very very light and sheer tint on darker skin. This is the best we have found for darker skin. Sunblock was only applied on forehead so you can see a difference but it is very subtle. Pic was captured in natural skylight illumination.

Awful. It works fine for avoiding sunburn and I loved that it was sea safe for the coral etc on our caribbean vacation. However, its SO sticky. I coated my entire body BEFORE putting on my swim suit, waited 30+ minutes for it to soak in and then put my suit on. I could barely pull my suit up! It was like stuck on the sunscreen and then it ruined my suit! My suit had clear residue from the sunscreen all over it. I was beyond embarrassed for our excursion. I even tried to wipe/wash it off in the ocean and it wouldn't come off. Had gross streaks all over my suit and each time I went to the restroom it got worse. Will never use this sunscreen again.
