Size matters so be sure of what your use will be
I have used one like these for a couple of years and so was comfortable purchasing new ones for additional needs we've identified. We use them for daily cereal storage, rather than taking up closet space with large family size boxes of cereal. We store the large boxes in a small pantry closet but use these to dispense into bowls in the morning. The two new ones are for cereal and flax/pumpkin seed granola that we add to our cereal each morning. The tops are snug, but we've never used these for liquids.

72 oz. ????
Product says 72oz x 2. I thought I would get 2 72oz containers. Not a combined weight. Also if it is 72oz. Why did my coffee can of 40.3oz fill both of them with extra coffee not fitting.
