Perfect Hemming Helper. Just Bring Patience
I purchased several rolls of the Klangfeiler® Iron on Hemming Web, 0.75 inch, for all my curtains, and I have to say, this stuff works exactly as advertised. It is a lifesaver for hemming without sewing, and the results look neat and professional when you take your time. The product itself is simple and effective. It adheres well with the heat of an iron, holding fabric securely in place. Once pressed, the hems stay put, and the finished look is clean and polished, which is exactly what you want when hemming curtains or similar projects. It really makes the difference between a rushed DIY hem and one that actually looks intentional. Great value if you have the time. That said, it does take time. This is not a fast process if you have a lot of curtains to do, so I recommend dedicating a few hours and settling in. Patience is key, but the good news is that the results are worth the effort. The product itself is very easy to work with once you get into a rhythm. Overall, this hemming web is a must-have for anyone looking to avoid sewing while still achieving professional looking hems. Works beautifully, holds well, and gives your curtains a polished finish. Just plan for a little time, and you will be rewarded with results that look like you put in a lot more effort than you actually did. Solid five stars.

Quick and holds up well
This is perfect for any pants I want to hem but not commit. I tried this for a pair of leggings I bought that were a bit too long for me and it held up great for several washes, still going strong!! It’s super easy to use and ironing it on wad a no brainer. EVERYONE should have this in their place for emergency use. I imagine it’ll work well for dressed or shirts too

Holds fast and easy to use!
Wow, so easy! I bought a pair of sweat pants that ended up too long, but I loved everything else about them. And I didn't want to take out the sewing machine and try to remember what a bobbin is, so I ordered this hem tape. I'm so glad I did! I'm a bit of a perfectionist and sweatpants material doesn't take creases very well, so it took me a couple of hours of measuring and folding, but the finished product is fantastic. The actual hem tape just takes cutting off a length of tape, placing it inside a 3/4-7/8" folded hem, and ironing it. Holds fast and works beautifully! I could write more about my process, but I'm sure you could figure it out, too. This hem tape is 5 stars all day! It saved my pants and was such a good value!

use 2 strips
This tape is strong. Haven’t washed my pants yet but we’ll see how it holds up. I had to take up slacks a good 4” and they look good. No need to cut the fabric of the slacks. It is the first time I am using tape to hem. Only thing I recommend is to cut 2 separate pieces of the tape, one for front of pants, one for back. I used a continuous piece on the first leg and the tape slipped up a little high in the back while I was ironing the front and it melted on the fabric above where I wanted the hem. Luckily I was able to pull it off but it did leave a little glue residue. I’m not sure what will happen when I iron the entire slacks. I’ll probably need a cloth in between so the extra glue doesn’t melt onto the inside front. These are polyester pants that I intend to only wear at Christmas so I’m not too concerned, but I have another pair of slacks that need to be shortened and I learned my lesson. I think it is a good product and much easier than needle and thread.

Great last minute hem
Bought this stuff to use as a quick last minute hem on a dress before an event. It worked GREAT! Very quick and very easy to use. Stuck quickly after ironing.

Does not work well on synthetic fabrics
Works well on cotton, but if you try to use it on a synthetic fabric that requires a lower iron temperature, the tape takes forever to melt and adhere. We’re talking 30-40 minutes of ironing to complete a 3 foot hem. At that rate, hand sewing is faster.

Value for the money
Worked as described. Very easy to apply and it very durable.

Works perfectly if used correctly. 4 stars due to lack of detailed instruction.
The good: after messing up my shirt and figuring out how to do it right, this tape worked excellently and showed no loss of adhesion after wearing for 2 days at work and 2 washes so far. (Edit: months later and countless washes, all my hems are still perfect.) The bad: it messed up my favorite shirt due to insufficient instructions. It says to make sure to leave under the iron for at least 60 seconds, but it doesn't say at what temperature, so I had to guess and guessed very wrong. The glue burned and left a permanent black burnt glue shadow on my light brown shirt. All that being said. Just make sure the temperature is set to the minimum necessary to create steam and it will work outstanding as it did for me on every other future attempt. Another thing I think the instructions should recommend is to use a couple of short pieces first just to hold it in place. Then just fill in the gaps with more tape pieces on a second pass. Either that or use a pin. But I didn't have pins. I'm a guy. We don't have pins. We have rusty nails. <Grunting> ;)

I bought the Klangfeiler Hemming Tape recently and it works very well. I'd only used another known brand before (wonder web) but this stuff is better, and I'm not good with a needle/thread! You get a generous amount on the roll so it will last you a while. It is quite thing but the adhesive is very strong. I used it to attach 3 sides of a child's blanket that'd separated and after cutting the tape to the right lengths, just put it between the top and bottom sides and ironed over it for a few seconds. It grabs quickly but if you aren't happy with how secure it is, you can always put the iron on for another few seconds. It is perfect too for curtains, trousers and other small jobs you'd otherwise have to sew. The adhesive has held well for a few weeks now, and the items I used it on have been washed several times in a 40' wash and there is no loosening. If you want a fast, clean finish then this hemming tape is perfect. Pros - Easy to apply - Strong grip - Good for various fabrics - Quicker and less faff than sewing - Lots on the roll, good for multiple jobs - Holds after washing Cons - Not sure how well it'd hold up on multiple higher degree washes - Not suitable for heavy curtains

I've been using this for everything now! I originally bought it to hem the curtains but now this is part of my wardrobe haha I recommend this for short girlies who can't find perfect length pants.

Vielen Dank
