They work good.

They are forged, so they will not "unwrap," and they are strong enough to use as a solid anchoring/lifting point, especially for a linear pull or lift (i.e. - linear to the threaded section).

It was hard to find bolts large enough for thr hooks on my safety chains. These work perfect!!

Heavy duty, bolted these in upper existing oval holes in middle of Ram pickup bed, for anchor points. Just used large washers.

It looks well-made, and of course has the cast eye, which is hard to find. Inside eye diameter is 1.15", outside diameter is 2.1". I am only giving it 3 stars because the 1/2 x13 thread is a very, very loose cut, and since this is supposed to be a strength fitting, the thread should be a closer fit to the nut. I am not going to return it, but will have to use extra caution when applying load, rather defeating the whole purpose.

Haven't actually used them yet but they feel more heavy duty than the hardware store. They threaded into my holes perfectly smooth. I will return after I put them to the test.
