DAP DryDex Dry Time Indicator Spackling, Pink/White, 32 Oz (7079812330)

This product has an amazing technology that changes color to indicate when it’s dry. It’s easy to use, easy to paint, and requires hardly any sanding if you know how to use a potty knife. It’s also easy to wipe with a damp sponge or cloth to smooth out everything and make it flush. Overall, it’s a great product that I would buy repeatedly.

It’s great that it applies pink, then dries white when ready for sanding. I HATE doing drywall, but at least with this it was a bit easier. The consistency of the “mud” is perfect! You get a lot of it too. I bought my last bottle at ACE and it costed me 2x what I paid here. I didn’t think to check Amazon for this before, but I’m glad I did. I didn’t have any issues with my bucket arriving broken, or leaking in any way. I think maybe others might have purchased during a hot streak. The heat would make it expand in the bucket, and it would rupture. So, that’s something to consider. I bought mine in early October, with temps in the 60-70s. I also noticed that this blend was particularly easy to apply compared to others I’ve used. Requires less sanding that way, which is really great. Clean up is a breeze; water and your hands will do. I will not buy any other type from now on. This will be my go to. I hope my review helps. 😊

Bought multiple multiple of these and they do the job every time. I like the pink it’s cutesy but obvi dries white and solid. Works super well have used this on small and large patches alike does the thing time after time. Not messy and very smooth and easy to work with.

Better for small projects like filling in nail or screw holes or superficial scuffs for a light weight repair, in my opinion. I use the heavier weight for my larger repairs for strength. But for those minor dings to edges or rotation of my photo frames (for example) this is my go to spackle when needing to cover up and blend in the old frame holes. A Few water drops and the dry clump from sitting becomes a useful paste again, so mine lasts awhile

My go to for spackle. Great price / quantity. Goes on strong, dries fast, sands down easy. Love the color change showing when ready to be sanded.

Great product. Filled a medium size hole and was easy to apply and went on easy and the texture was great with no mess. I liked it went on pink color and turned white when completely dry so could be sanded down. No cracks when dried and sanded. Good size tub for a great price. Filled the hole really well ready to paint and looks great.

Great product. Pink turns to white when it dries as advertised. It came like a giant tub of playdough. It doesn't smell weird and it's quite easy to glob up and apply to a surface. Worked well for me, would recommend if you need a lot of the stuff.
