Impressive and easy to install
Spent ages agonising over which one of these to buy and finally settled on this one. I’m very pleased with my choice. Easy to assemble and install, solar panel works well and we had bird activity within 5 minutes (squirrels are still wary)Things I wish I’d known when dithering:Camera takes 14 hours to fully charge (less the 1st time)It can be mounted directly on poles, trees, fences, sheds, walls, camera tripods easily but not hung from above. The anti squirrel klaxon is incredibly loud (use sparingly)Works on two bars of WiFi over 35ft from the house.Image quality decent and screenshots are even more detailed than live feed.Pretty solid construction, not flimsy. You need an app to stream to phone or tablet and you need to make an account. (A little bit flaky when linking to WiFi and feeder but nothing unusual that your average 9 year old couldn’t cope with)All in all a reliable and effective bit of technology which has already brought a new sense of drama and interest to the garden.Would recommend.

Outstanding
This was a Christmas present for my wife & it was pretty straightforward to set up . After a long initial mains charge up , the solar panel appears to keep it fully charged , even in the winter , so it will be be fine come spring . I couldn't be bothered with the hassle of taking the unit back indoors to charge up. The batteries appear to be internal. The associated app will only let one person per WiFi log on . Solved this by installing the app on my wife's phone using my login details. But only one of us can view at a time........so far !. Maybe over time we will get it sussed. The camera detail is pin sharp day & night . During the day it also doubles as a security camera in the area the feeder is placed. It comes with lots a ways to tether it secure . Big & medium jubilee clips , velcro straps for tree mounting, & a drilling template + all relevant screws & rawlplugs. I opted for the velcro strap around a palm tree trunk . Solid fit !. The alarm & white light functions are good for scaring off unwanted birds . There is also a speech link , so seagulls etc can be sworen at ! Haha 😄. The white light can also be used at night to override the black & white infrared night vision & give a colour picture at night . A micro SD Card is required but not included. I had a spare one from an old phone & the bird feeder formatted it for me . Great bit of kit . Well chuffed with the purchase.

Delightful! Well made & Excellent after sale support!
This is a real treat, and needless to say, it feels like a luxury product from the point of unboxing, the extra measures in place to ensure fixtures are easy and accurate, the set up (a bit tricky for me as I’d downloaded the Birdfy app at the time of purchase, but in set up it provides a Netvue QR code to a seperate app and this muddled me up having two apps - just follow the instruction on the one app it suggests and you won’t go down the same rabbit hole that I did).Every part of it is well thought out. You really know you have a luxury product, and the after sales support is excellent. The online social media groups are moderated by Birdfy staff and are quick to leap in with help if anyone is struggling. The solar panel is incredible. After my initial full charge, it’s kept the battery topped up and I’ve never fallen below 99% charge, even on the dullest of UK days. It only took 3 days to get my first visitor.Super pricey product, but it’s easy to see where your money has gone! Don’t hesitate if you are in a position of buying one. X

Good quality product
UK review:This is clearly an American product, as a lot of the "help" and Community pictures relate to American species of bird. I won't be needing the "hummingbird" attachment in Northern Scotland for example! Still, it is very well built, instructions are (mostly) clear and where they weren't (see below), I was able to get online support very easily and quickly.Once mounted on a tree, the solar charger worked great (even at our high northern latitude in January) and it attracted our resident robin very quickly, closely followed by the blue tit. We have had a lot of fun already watching their antics and behaviour in close-up. high resolution. A couple of gotchas, which initially tripped us up... 1. make sure your SD card is formatted in FAT32, NOT ex-FAT or NTFS. Look it up, if you're not sure what that means or how to do it. 2. When the manual talks about listening for a "continuous" tone during set-up, it actually means an intermittent tone, repeated ad nauseam.EDIT: One extra benefit we discovered accidentally - you can install it on multiple phones.EDIT2: The solar panel mounting broke off after 8 months. Perhaps I screwed it on too tightly to the tree, and it is just plastic, so beware of that. They sell replacement mounts, which look like metal rather than plastic, so perhaps this is a known problem, but they want £18 incl. postage. I think I might see if I can rig something up before I pay them to fix their own design flaw.EDIT3: I contacted their customer services and following a series of chats and emails, where I provided photo evidence of the problem, they were happy to send out a free replacement part, which will take 15-20 days, so it's probably being despatched from the USA. But am pleasantly surprised by the high level of customer service, so far.
