Q: Is this safe for pvc? Thanks!!!

I tried to clean drain of sink in kitchen. It works well. Guess it should be pvc.

Q: Do you feed it into the drain by turning the trigger?

Yes. I turned the handle the whole time I was feeding down the cable. It seems to work itself through without much of a problem. I tried pulling it out without turning the handle but that didn't work. So when you are ready to remove the cable it comes out much easier if you are still turning the handle. I remember having about 15 feet of cable down my drain and tried just pulling it out and it wouldn't budge 'yikes'. But if you continue turning the crank it does come out rather easily. It was rather fun to use I have to say and worked great. I'm waiting for more clogs now. (not that I want any) :-)

No don't use the handle . You have in push it in with your hand metal part . Just keep playing with it. It's easy . You'll see once you get it. Also pull it out slowly. The handle trigger is to wind it back in. Good luck.

Q: Is this safe to use for a toilet when six foot auger didn’t clear clog?

If six foot auger doesn't work, this one doesn't work either and makes scratches which ruins the toilet bowl. This one can help when you move the toilet bowl and work for the drain pipe. However mostly there is no clog on it. It's a clog in the toilet bowl itself usually.
