Bronze Hare Sculpture Buttercup Statue Harriet Glen

I got this for Mother's Day and was so surprised at the quality. She has a fancy bronze on the mantle piece and I wanted to get her something to sit at the other end to match but couldn't afford another real bronze so got this. I personally can't tell a difference when it's sat down, and my mother adores it. The only differences i can see are the weight and the resin cuts on the underside but it looks much more expensive than it is. Such a fantastic buy, super happy!

I like the proportions of the Harriet Glen hare sculptures. Unlike a lot of hare sculptures the ears are not enormously long, which means that the sculpture will pass as a rabbit aswell as a hare. I was looking at Paul Jenkins 'Hurricane' hare running and I thought the ears looked too long in relation to the size of the head and the back feet look much too long. The Ted hare by Thomas Meadows looks to have an exaggerated ear length too. The Harriet Glen sculptures are proportionally more accurate in my opinion.Just by looking at the sculpture I can somehow tell that it's been sculptured by a woman. It has that cute type of look that woman seem to be very good at capturing.I bought the sculpture for someone who has a pet rabbit and I think she will like it.The product information is spot on. It is exactly 7.5 inches long (19cm). If you want to know how big that is it's about the same lengh as your hand.

The statue has clearly been made in China. The parting line has been roughly filed / hacked obliterating the detail. Not as advertised, and costs too much to return.

I bought this lovely bronze hare as a birthday present for a friend who collects them, I received it and very impressed with the lovely quality. Would definitely buy from this seller again.

Arrived early which is always a bonus and the prdouct was as good as i have seen in this price range though if put next to a really expensive bronze you could hardly tell the difference. Very pleased and would buy again
