Really helpful!
I have pretty severe light sensitivity and occasionally the overhead lights in my office give me migraines. I tried to get permission to put up some sort of cubicle shade, but was denied. However, I don't think I should be required to live with migraines. So, since I can't put up something permanent or that is visible above my cube, I will sometimes put an umbrella over myself and my monitors to block out excess light. I found it annoying to get this positioned perfectly so that it stayed up, so I decided to look for some sort of holder.I found this!This is very versatile and worked great for my purposes! It can clamp onto my monitor riser and hold my umbrella in place at a much more comfortable height and angle. And it still can't be seen over the top of my cubicle. I can take it down at the end of the day and no one can really complain.I've found it very useful. It's heavy and seems very sturdy. It grips well and doesn't sag. It can hold a variety of positions so that you can get the correct angle. And it operates really smoothly - I had no issues getting the little claws open or closed or tightening/loosening the ball and socket.

Nice mount, lots of options. Well built
Great mount with a lot of flexibility. The Jaws are able to grasp a square bimini cover frame tube. Easy to adjust and position. We're using it to hold a rear view mirror and it's actually pretty stable.

Better than expected
Has that professional feel about them. Quality. They tighten up on both fingers at the same time making the grip strong and fast. I'd buy another if needed.

This gives you shade opens you didn’t know you had. I love just being able to have this instead of spending a ton of money getting a fancy wagon. We used this to attack a golf umbrella onto our beach chairs during the summer, to our folding chairs during soccer season, and to my daughter’s wagon. Just buy it
