#40 Roller Chain Sprocket B Type 3/4" Bore Rust Prevention Hardened 10 Tooth

The sprocket worked great for the electric can crusher my husband is making. It was fast shipping and great packaging.

The sprocket that came with my motor kit unscrewed itself and fell off. This is a perfect replacement. It fit the shaft perfectly with the included woodruff key and attached to the shaft properly with the included hex nut. I would recommend using a thread lock compound on the motor shaft to keep the nut in place. This is a 9 tooth sprocket, and I used it to replace an 11 tooth sprocket. This necessitated resizing the chain, but it resulted in more low end power delivered to the rear wheel through the existing #415 chain.

Just what we needed

Nice quality but pricey for what it is. Used to modify electric utility cart into gas with small engine and torque converter. Basic but limited options with reviews.

The bore was machined improperly. Other sprockets I have slide on but this required a lot of filing to make fit and is no longer true. I’d like a new replacement but cannot send back what I have as I am concerned about the new one making it on time for the race. I d rather have a filed one than none. Disappointed but I get mistakes are made. Hoping they make it right.
