KomodoCombined Digital Thermometer and Hygrometer

This is great. I have it for my Python and it is very handy. The beeping lets me know that something isn't in the right range that I've allowed it to be and is great when I come home from college because I can have a quick peek at the display and that tells me immediately if it's too high/low.It also seems to be very accurate as I also have an infra-red thermometer that I use to see if I can trust products, and I can definitely trust this.Very please, and honestly I think it's worth the money as you can also monitor two places at once with the thermometers, meaning I can quickly check the high and low temperature areas.Overall, very happy.

As always when sent by amazon the item arrived in the time they said it would and well packaged. And the thermometer is very good with lot's of different functions, a bit confused on the in/out temperature as i don't see how u can get an out reading!? but i've got this in my bearded dragons vivarium 1 probe at each end and they give different reading's. There's about a 10 degree difference with the komodo dual gauge compared to my old stick on thermometer(not digital) so i would recommend buying this to anyone who's got reptiles as they need certain temps to thrive, and the stick on one's you get from petshop don't appear to be accurate. As for the hygrometer i don't know what this should be for bearded dragons, i just know they need it really dry, but a nice added feature that i'll have to research. Only 4 stars because it cost's a bit more than most others i looked at, but i bought this because i felt if its more money, it might be more accurate, but i can't compare it with anything so i not sure on this.

I got a bearded dragon first time owner, I set his viv up and put in thermometers in from another company I knew something was off as he was never on his basking area and stopped eating but according to these thermometers everything was right, I purchased this one to make sure it and I put this in and his basking area was 123 Fahrenheit!! And his cool end was also way over temperature lucky it was for only 4 days, I am so happy with this purchase but more to the point my dexter is comfortable and in the right temperatures now! So first I would like to say it's extremely Reliable and accurate with a 0.5 difference but Its complicated to set up And three nights in a row now it has reset it self meaning all those useful alarms and the clock while would be great only if they worked, considering the setup at first is a mine field due to the instructions being wrong in places it's an absolute nightmare to do once a day and just not worth it

I had to have the first one replaced as it stopped working, but the second stopped working about 5 weeks after purchase and I now cannot get a refund

I actually have three of Komodo's combined digital thermos now because I like them so much. It's great being able to monitor both the hot and cold end of my vivariums with one device, as well as the humidity. I love that it has alarms to warn if something becomes to low or high - you should always have your heating elements on a stat but the added security is great seeing as outside factors can affect your vivs. The controls are a bit of a pain, my advice would be to just keep the booklet handy in case you need it, it's easy to forget which buttons to press and when for what you need to do given that there are so many options for this device. They seem to be reasonably accurate, but if you're looking to make sure or need extremely specific temperatures then you should probably also invest in an infrared gun too.If you have a 5ft vivarium with another vivarium on top you might struggle to stretch the wires how you need them, if placing the monitor outside of the viv. I have a 5ft with a 3ft on top and the wires aren't long enough for me to really position the unit in a good way - there's not enough to put the unit on top of the 3ft and not enough to put it at the sides of the 3ft without stretching at least one of the probes taut either way. All in all, I really like this product, it's a little on the expensive side but for me all the alarm functions etc make it worth the money.

Perfect for keeping an eye on temperature and humidity and it even has 2 temperature probes so you can have 1 in hot end and 1 in the cold end. I would definitely buy again. Much more reliable than the cheap analogue gauges that sometimes give false readings

Feels a little cheap but overall so far so good. Stand is a little flimsy and i wish the cables were just a touch longer but over works well after a few weeks, great to have 2x lots of temps and hydro readings on 1 device. Easy to use and understand after reading instructions
