Love this vest, I packed it for our trip to the Dominican Republic as we were exploring the whole island. We visited lots of rivers and we wanted to make sure we were safe. Side note, we visited 27 Charcos is 2008 and their life vests were terrible, I literally sank wearing it. We did visit their site and watched videos and it seems they have expanded and much more organized and better vests. However, that experience made me want to buy my own. The fit was snug and I felt very safe in it. I wore it on the beaches at Barahona and the rivers near Puerto Plata. You can lay back and just float, as if you were tubing in the lazy river. The vest dries very quickly, we allowed it to dry for 2 days before packing it back in the luggage for our flight back to the U.S.

I'm a 5'3" and 140 pound woman with a size D chest (overshare lol but important!). The size Medium life jacket fit snuggly without being super uncomfortable. I use for paddleboarding and felt I had plenty of room to maneuver my paddle without getting underarm chaffing. The fit looks great! The quality feels like it will last. Even on a warm 85 degree day I didn't feel overheated in it, either.

My daughter loves the design and fit but wishes it had a small pocket for her snacks when sailing. Bit pricey but high-quality material.
