HONBAY U Shaped Sectional Sofa Convertible Couch with Double Chaises 4 Seat Sofa with Two Ottomans, Velvet Green

I gave it a couple weeks before writing a review so I could give an honest accounting so here we go! Arrival & Assembly: When this couch came it took all of about an hour for one person to assemble, instructions were clear and concise. If you are like me and like to reinforce potential weak points in the build, you will be happy to know that there are only two points easily made better which are 1. The connection joining the two couch sections (upgraded to a thicker bolt) and 2. The legs (well made plastic but plastic nonetheless) which are easily traded out for any number of replacements to better suit personal aesthetics/height concerns. Just make sure you get a total of 16 legs (8 for the couch itself and eight for the ottomans) Materials: My wife and I both have occasional sensory issues surrounding touch. If you likewise suffer from this then you will understand and if you don't its quite hard to adequately explain. BUT! Despite some trepidation, we were pleased to find that the material of the NON-velvet version, which we got in the navy blue color, is actually quite pleasing to the touch, able to feel both soft but also durable and easy to clean The cushions themselves feel soft but very supportive. I've seen people describe them as firm or even hard but that's NOT a fair description. These cushions are built such that, as time goes on, I don't anticipate the kind of ugly flattening you often see with "soft" cushions. The ONLY (and I do mean only) critique is with the backrest cushions which, while completely adequate, can feel a bit thin. The beauty is that, because the covers are removable, I spent about 40 bucks at walmart getting a memory foam mattress topper and, after some trimming/cutting out, I was able to slide in the additional material and the finished product is what you see in my main picture. This, of course, is a matter of personal preference and is definetly not manditory like with other couches! Height, measurements, stability This couch sits as high as any typical couch that doesnt have high, or ornate legs. Of course this is easily adjusted as previously mentioned. The measurements are true to description and find the sweet spot between being compact enough to fit almost anywhere and being BIG enough to seat almost anyONE comfortably. This is especially apparent when you move both ottomans (which have a really ingenious method of locking into place) to one side. When we do this both my wife and I can lay one behind the other without having to move the backrest cushions which is really nice for movies! Summary/TL:DR This couch is an incredible buy and the manufacturer knocked it out of the park! Built to last and easily reinforced/upgraded if one chooses, comfortable and well proportioned, this couch definitely punches well above its weight price-wise. You won't be disappointed! (And, as evidenced by my second photo, kitty approved 😉)

When this couch came it arrived in 3 boxes. One crushed and another covered in an oily substance. Fortunately, everything was packed very well and protected in thicker plastic, not the cheap thin, easy tear kind. This saved the cushions in the oil covered box. Assembly took me and my son 45 minutes, with no tools and easy identified pieces. Only this that is plastic are the legs, but they are very thick and durable. The seat cushions removed from the vacuumed sealed bags took no time to take their shape and were thick and not poor quality. Everything took excellent shape and very comfortable. I wanted a low back couch as it would not be against a wall and this allowed it to keep the room visually open. Everyone who visits mention it's very comfortable and looks great and works with our color scheme in the room. We have three dogs who also seem to enjoy this couch more than the others. Super easy to remove dog hair with a sticky roller and damped cloth for any spot cleaning. I was a bit nervous to purchase something I could not see or sit on. Glad we took the chance on this couch. We and the dogs love it.

First of all I want to say that the customer service from this company is the BEST! I contacted them about an issue on the weekend and the response time was phenomenal. Pros for the sofa; the color is beautiful and the material is nice as well. The longer cushions are pretty comfortable and well made. The dogs fits well in a smaller living room and very versatile in the setting arrangement. It was easy to assemble and I put it together by myself in about 30 minutes The cons; The smaller cushions are pretty wrinkled and do not seem to want to come back from being compressed for shipping. I don’t think the couch would hold up to a lot of weight or constant use. The frame is smaller wooden pieces that seem a bit flimsy. The cushions are a bit hard but are ok for me as I didn’t want a super soft couch that is hard to get up from. Overall the sofa is worth the price I paid.

This couch was the perfect choice for my first time buying furniture, and I couldn’t be happier! It was very cost-effective without sacrificing quality, which was exactly what I was looking for. The setup was incredibly easy—it took me less than 30 minutes from unboxing to having it fully assembled. No tools required! It's comfortable, looks great, and fits perfectly in my space. The couch is also easy to move around and the quality of the fabric is great. If you're new to buying furniture or looking for an affordable option, I highly recommend this couch! Great value for the price!

Pros: -The material is nice and seems durable -The price was good -It is firm Cons: -No assembly instructions. It is easy to assemble once you figure it out but some simple instructions would make it much less frustrating. -It looks much smaller and lower in-“person” than the pictures depict. We have purchased some longer legs to replace the ones it came with so it won’t seem so low. -the chaise’s are shorter than expected. -it is not comfortable or cozy. It is stiff with very little give so forget comfortably cuddling up for a movie or with a good book.
