Q: Does the silicone mar wood surfaces? Furniture mfg's say not to use rubber or plastic coated items on wood.

I haven't used them for a long time (a few days only) but so far no damage has happened to our wood tables. The use has not been long enough to say if they will ultimately damage the pieces or not but so far, no damage. We don't leave the coasters on the tables unless they are in use so that might keep the pieces without damage.

Q: Will they protect a wood table from the condensation from a cold beverage that inevitably seems to transfer through most coasters?

YES, absolutely! Condensation can pool in the coaster and spill over the lip, so you might want to wipe it out now and then, if it's a long evening. I use a small doily in mine beside my bed, and that works well, too.

Q: Do they come with a holder?

Q: Where are they manufactured?

I don't know, as I unfortunately tossed the box. As the manufacturer doesn't brag about or even mention place of origin in the main listing, I suspect China.
