1 1/2" UNISEAL Flexible Tank Adapter Made in the USA (Bulkhead) - 2 Pack

We used these 1 1/2" UNISEAL flexible tank adapters in multiple places across our aquaponics system—including connections for our sump tank, radial flow filter, and bioreactor—and they’ve performed flawlessly. They provide a super tight seal without the need for bulkhead fittings or threading, which saved us time and headaches during setup. Installation was easy with the right hole saw and a bit of soapy water. Once the pipe is pushed through, the seal is rock solid. We’ve had zero leaks, even with regular water flow and occasional jostling of pipes during system maintenance. This 2-pack was a great value, and the flexibility of the UNISEALs made adapting to curved barrels and IBC totes a breeze. If you're building or upgrading any kind of aquaponics or hydroponics system, these are an excellent choice.

This is one of those inventions that make life easier. Follow the instructions, and in like 5 minutes, you have a reliable, robust seal. One set now is about a year in, and no signs of a leak. And all of the seals worked the first time. Which is critical on a rain barrel, because once that hole is cut you can't un-cut it! Sealing a rain barrel pipe is a particularly difficult problem, because the pipe is at the opposite end from the barrel opening, which is too small to easily manipuilate interior parts like nylon washers, or nuts. The uniseal eliminates that whole problem by having no internal components. If only EVERY product did what it claimed as these little gems do! I found this invention on another site, but I've purchased all of mine here, and I could not be more pleased. As a qualifier- I only use them in low-pressure applications (rain barrels). I don't know how they do under higher pressures. But in my case they are the BEEZ KNEEZ!

MUCH easier to use than traditional bulkhead! Highly recommend!

I installed it on a 32-gallon brute trash can I used as a bogg filter on the bottom, but it did leak after testing it with water. I don't think they are very effective for thinner plastic. It was also hard to find a decent hole saw because the hole needs to be perfect for these uniseals to work. I used it for the outflow, but ended up going with a bulkhead, which didn't leak and was easier and stronger at holding the pipe. I think these are good for an affordable and quick project, but everything needs to be perfect, a thick enough plastic wall, and perfect hole, and a decent hole saw. I heard cutting in reverse gives a better, smoother cut. But you cannot do that with a craftsman hole saw or others that spin on the bit because the hole saw will spin right off the arbor.

Very well made and inexpensive. They do exactly what they are advertised to do....make a tight seal that does not leak.
