Works with MyGica PT682C USB Type-C Tv Tuner Card and power cable!
I bought this to use with a tv antenna made for type c plugs but the tv tuner didn't charge phone or have a way to be charged other then phone powering it. This cable allows me to have tv antenna plugged in at the same time as power cable. Also tv antenna wouldn't plug in enough with my phone case and this fixed that issue as well.

No data in android
Nicely made. Does not claim to work with Samsung android and it doesnt. The charger passes through ok. It even charges fast. The first bullet in ad says headphone. The second bullet says data. No data on Samsung Android. Update. Make that 5 stars. The only thing I really wanted was to charge while ethernet tethering. That works fine. Super-remote internet access all day every day.

Nonfunctional
I made the mistake of ignoring the many poor reviews and ordered this product. TLDR: Did not work at all on either female connector for power or data More detailed: I was hoping to use this to split power from a USB-C battery power pack to use for a pair of low power LED lights for a kid's costume. The USB-C lights did not receive power from either female port, with standard troubleshooting (one port at a time, both, reverse the way the plug was facing on each end, different source). I then attempted to use this splitter for other USB-C devices with several sources and could not get any data or power connectivity. I figured it was a long shot to try this, and wish I hadn't. I am returning it as defective/ non-functional and would not recommend it to anyone else. For my project, I ended up finding a usb-c output battery pack (samsung) with 2 usb-c ports that my son carried in his pocket rather than the single output battery pack I had mounted on a headband. Sometimes the more expensive solution is the right way to go.

Works PERFECTLY for Keeping Phone/DAP Charged While Outputting Digital Audio to External DDC/DAC
I’ve been using a HiBy R6 Pro II DAP as my network streamer in my speaker chain for a couple of months now, but whenever I wanted to do critical listening, I had to disconnect the DAP from its power source in order to hook the DAP up to my Gustard U18 DDC because the singular USB-C port on the DAP is the only port for both, power and bitperfect digital audio. I use a DDC to convert digital source material to I2S which is how I send my music into my DAC (Musician Draco). With this wonderful cable, I am able to keep my DAP charged while simultaneously keeping the DDC attached and receiving audio. This way I can listen all day and not worry about running out of battery in my DAP, or compromising on sound quality (when using the HiBy CR06 dock, it keeps the DAP charged, but can only send audio out either by crappy optical S/PDIF or coaxial S/PDIF, which would have to go straight to my DAC, bypassing my DDC and the superior I2S transport).

Power is limited to 1.5 Amps
Got this to try Gadgetoid/pi400kb on a Raspberry Pi 500 plus - It doesn't get up to full amperage. With the power supply plugged in to the 500+ od -A n -d -j 2 --endian=big /proc/device-tree/chosen/power/max_current 5000 While using the splitter od -A n -d -j 2 --endian=big /proc/device-tree/chosen/power/max_current 1500 Also getting weird (lower) wattages on other devices that try and negotiate with usb PD. If it got 3000 - which is Current usb spec - it would be fine, and just not handling the raspberry pi requirements. As it is, it's still a solid package.

Data port not funtionable
I've had this for about two months, but only used the power side, which worked. I recently needed to use the data side and all three of my computers refused to acknowledge it was connected. I even tried three different USB-C thumb drives and got nothing. Obviously, I don't needed the data input often, but I paid for it and didn't get it, and of course it's too late to return it. Lesson learned. UPDATE: The seller reached out to me after my review. After several emails with the seller asking various questions concerning my equipment, it was determined that my Lenovo E15 laptop requires 65w and has a 3.5mm audio port. Apparently this USB-C split cable can only provide up to 60w, and while it plays in some devices, it can be recognized as an audio device in others having a 3.5mm audio port, causing a conflict. I don't begin to understand this explanation, but the seller provided me with a small dongle containing a male USB-A port on one end and a female USB-C port on the other end. It allows me to use my USB-C thumb drive in my Lenovo E15 laptop without having to use the USB-C power port. Not the approach I had hope for, but a viable solution since transfer speed is not an issue for me.
