We used this under a large flat woven rug. Top tip: If you need to cut it to fit (as we did), use Jaffa tape to hold together your sections - works a treat. Nice and thick and springy underfoot, good value for money, worth getting for extra insulation and comfort underfoot.

I didn't expect much tbh due to the price I paid but I was wrong . The underlay is thick , bouncy and very easy to cut and lay . Ready for our new carpet to be laid .

Quick delivery and good quality

It went down well. though it tore in a couple of places, but that was due to the fact i was laying it in a room of about 9sq meters on my own and also constantly manhandling a super kingsize ottoman bed around. So that i entirely put down to my own incompetence. It is a good thickness and helps to make the carpet feel comfortable under my feet. The most important thing was that it was a great price!

anyone looking for a sturdy material will be disappointed, but those who like to thicken their thin carpet will be happy.
