Great price and great magnetic
Highly recommend for any diyer. Saves and protects your pinch welds and has a good magnet. I missed taking one off and drive the car for two days. In town and on highway and it held on until I saw it still hanging there lol. It's small enough that storage is not an issue. It's sturdy enough that stability is not an issue. Magnetic also make it very easy to install and use on jacks and lifts

Ok
Works ok but not a good fit in the floor jack

No more crushed pinch welds or body moldings!
The design of these is pretty slick. Unlike the rubber pucks with the slots in them, these are narrow enough to fit between the lower body plastics and the pinch weld without crushing the moldings, but beefy enough to securely lift the car. The magnetic feature makes them even better! These are very precisely machined - perfectly flat on the bottom to seat squarely on a floor jack or flat top jack stand. The magnets look to be embedded in HDPE in a way it won't mar the pinch weld, but still hold them securely in place against the frame until you get the jack positioned. I honestly wish I knew about these sooner! Liked the first two so much I bought two more so I can just snap them in place on the four corners and only move the jack to lift the car. If I get distracted while cleaning up after a job, the bright red helps me remember to take them off before I head on down the road! Highly recommend for anyone lifting a car with pinch welds (which most newer cars require now)!

cure worse than the disease
I've finally used the product. given that I change/swap out tire and rim combo twice a year. snow and studded to summer tires. have had this vehicle for 13 years so 26 swaps, on the pinch weld. never any issues and check when on mechanics rack, in the air this is too hard to align properly and spent more time trying to align and maintain safety that I wasted one side of the vehicle swap. never did get it to work properly and what I considered safe, use a standard floor jack. back to the old tried and true method of the past decade some issues to consider. the magnets don't hold to the vehicle pinch weld, should have been placed on the sides possibly. too much under the vehicle/floor jack to alighn, possible causing hand injury. several off cantor lifting attempts, checking visually and with hand. too cumbersome of a process to assist with safety or convienence

Does the job
I decided to write a review when I used it and noticed something I wasn't expecting. I thought that the 'ears' that go up alongside the pinch weld would actually contact the metal of the floor support and drip rail, effectively spreading the weight over the whole top of this little gadget and over both pieces of the car. At least for my 2014 Charger, that's not how it works. The pinch weld itself sits in the bottom valley of this guy, where the polyurethane and magnets are. Now, that's not necessarily a bad thing. Even though it doesn't work quite like I thought, it distributes the weight enough that I have no concern the pinch weld is going to be damaged. Based on some of the other reviews, there seems to be some level of risk of the adapter sliding on the jack, but in my experience, I don't see how that would happen. I jacked my car up just so the front tire was off the ground and tried to wiggle and ultimately shove my jack back and forth. No sliding at all. Not sure why some have had problems with it, but I couldn't do it on purpose. Good little gadget to have around for jacking up these cars.

This jack pad is very solid and stays attached to the car when removing the floor jack. It protects the frame and makes the work easy and safe.
