Stitch with Love: 11 Simple Stitches and Over 20 Easy-to-Sew Projects

This is a delicious book. It is full of lovely easy hand embroidery projects for anyone who loves simple and stylish little projects to do. It is a delight to pick up and browse, as well as being a good source of inspiration. I particularly like the left - handed stitch guides. Being a 'leftie' I struggle to convert the stitches from right handed books and did not want to go to the expense of a lefthanded stitch book. This book will be used and cherished.

After seeing this book on a TV show I brought from Amazon (cheaper by far!!). Was thrilled with the content, beautiful photos and fabulous projects.I recommend this highly for all levels. Great instructions for beginners and stunning projects for all, brings a new slant on projects and have brought all this authors books now on the strength of this one. Can't wait for them to come.

This is an excellent little book for seeking inspiration for both hand and machine sewing. Small projects that are clearly illustrated. I love the red and white of the designs but any colours would go well with each project. Very simply explained and certainly a book which made me want to get on and make something.

A really interesting book which was a joy - I will definately will be making alot of the projects, the instructions are clear, the patterns are lovely and I just need to find a decent needlework shop to buy the thread used in the Christmas items. This book has encouraged me to get going with embroidery again.

I bought this book having seen it on a tv craft show but found it cheaper to buy on Amazon. This book has some inspirational patterns and designs to try your hand at and if you visit Mandy Shaw's shop you can buy the lovely materials she uses to start you off. So far I have completed one project and am moving on to my next piece. They are useful items to make and quite pretty as well. The book is informative but I think the instructions could be a little more in depth for a beginner. It is definitely worth buying to try the projects you wont be disappointed with the results.

Lovely book for small sewing projects whether you want to follow projects to the letter or developed your own ideas. Have made several of the projects. I have lent the book to several friends who have admired it. Well laid out and easy to follow

A beautifully produced book full of instruction and ideas. The detailed diagrams are foolproof and as a lover of red and white it is perfect. The patterns are full size and that is so useful.I have already made the little sewing bag and I think this is a useful addition to my sewing library.

Can't help myself, when she brings out a new book I have to have it. Always something in it to stimulate my creative juices and give wonderful ideas. You can adapt her stuff too, doing it your own way with your own fabrics and it will still come out great. Beginners however, stick to her descriptions and have faith, it's like knitting socks, you can't see sometimes how it is going to become the finished product but oh boy, it really DOES!!!

This book is a treasure trove of lovely redwork embroidery information and inspiration, AND all the patterns are full size.

Das Buch ist voller hübscher Ideen für kleine Stickereien. Ob man sie mag ist sicher Geschmacksache, mir gefallen sie.Beim Nacharbeiten fallen dann aber die Schwächen des Buchs auf: die Anleitungen sind nicht sehr ausführlich, und die Fotos ebenfalls nicht immer hilfreich, da nicht detailliert genug. Ich bin keine Stickanfängerin, hätte mir aber doch mehr Informationen gewünscht, z. B. wann mit doppeltem Faden gestickt wird oder Maßangaben.Insgesamt eher ein Buch mit Anregungen als mit Anleitungen.
