RoomAndLoft Queen Size Gray Murphy Wall Bed in Solid Wood, No Box Spring Needed, Easy Assembly

This Murphy bed came a couple days late. I was a little nrevous reading reviews about how hard most of these are to assemble. The directions were perfect. Everything I needed was in the boxes and I did it myself in only 5 hours working at a snails pace. No issues, and I highly recomend this murphy bed!

I had this bed on my watch list for a few months. It was listed at $1500, I got a price reduction message, saying it dropped to $999 so I bought even though I wasn't ready for it yet, that was last Aug. 2025. Fast forward to November and after unpacking found we had to side panels both right sides. I called the number (no longer listed) only to find out they were no longer in business. (best guess that's why the lower price) I had already got rid of the cardboard, so I decided to improvise. This worked pretty well, and it was the only choice I could see. The bed itself is of good quality, but mis packed and being out of business makes it a bad deal. I do think others might be selling this bed now. Tip; make sure sides are square before mounting to the wall or the bed won't close right.

No formaldehyde , or at least not a lot fumes. It too a few days to off gas the fumes. Maybe its the paint. Like the real wood. And it functions. Need help on a few peices. A few of the directions were missing. But figured it out. Took me three days to get it perfect. Easy does it definatly applies here !

Update: Don’t buy this bed! Seller won’t answer my questions and handles keep coming loose. It’s too heavy and needs stronger hydraulics. I’m sorry I bought it. Dislike the weak hydraulics. I've had previous experience w Murphy beds that had easier lifting. I've contacted the seller and the manufacturer but no answer yet. I asked if there is an alternate choice on hydraulic cylinders that would fit. I will update when I get an answer. Ano customer asked about mattress size. I think 8 in is recommended. I started with a 10 in that I had but it was difficult to fold the leg bar over it-doable but difficult. And it was too heavy to lift. So I bought a new 8 in and it's easier but still takes some muscle (and it slides) which is why I contacted the manufacturer about getting stronger hydraulics.

The instructions were easy to follow. The frame and wood was made of quality material. I would definitely buy this bed again.
