Neilsen CT0795-25pc Combination Spanner Set 6–32mm, Chrome Vanadium | Satin Finish | Ideal for Garage, Workshop and Maintenance Use

These spanners are of very good quality, especially for the price you pay! They have a nice satin finish to them and look very nice. Easy to grip and wont slip out of your hand. The included storage is amazing as it nicely holds every spanner where it should be, and it can be attached to a wall for easier storage! Easy to use, along with the storage. Comfortable design on the hands with no sharp edges and smooth all around! Each spanner has a decent amount of weight, helping with leverage; the entire set together can be quite heavy to carry. I used these spanners on really high torque bolts, and the box end holds up really well, but can slowly wear down over time if not used correctly. However, the star end is solid and has held up amazingly!

I needed some larger size combination spanners and better quality smaller ones for occasional DIY use. This kit has a useful range of sizes without skipping values as some kits do. Nilsen offer a lower cost set, but the quality of these is good given the low price. A couple of large size combinations spanners bought separately can cost as much as this kit! They feel good to use compared with some cheaper ones I have. Good weight to them and don't seem to bend easily. The pouch they come in rolls up weirdly, and they have a tendency to fall out if you are not careful, but not worth worrying about for the price. Great value overall, just remember they are a low cost set so don't expect miracles, but seem fine if you like tinkering with cars or other DIY activities.

A good set of spanners, delivered on time and priced keenly.

The spanner set bought as a second to a Draper one bought earlier, unlike the bright chromed Draper these a matt finish to the same Chrome Vanadium steel, the ring spanner teeth less pronounced than the Draper set however these only bought to duplicate as often requiring two spanners of the same size. I do find ring spanners less robust than the open end type preferring to use six sided sockets on seized or over tight nuts so not overly concerned about the lack of teeth depth on these rings. As open ended spanners they appear to fit and close to size as one could expect from a low price set of 25 spanners, as a duplicate they are acceptable and the matt finish means they will not get mixed up with the better quality chrome finish Draper set. My only comment is that purchase was made of a Brand New set of Nielson spanners, one could have bought "As new" at £2 less with a damaged box, I leave you to guess which one I received from Amazon. However this not the fault of the product and despite having a crushed box and marks on the cloth roll returning the item not worth my time in repackaging for £2 difference, I did check on delivery if the Amazon “Used as new” set still available but they had conveniently disappeared, I am just more disappointed that one’s trust is possibly being abused by yet another seemingly desperate Corporate Company.

I'll start by saying I am a HGV Mechanic. I own more expensive spanner sets but I wanted a cheaper set, particularly 22mm to 32mm, that I wouldn't mind abusing and hammering at. This is a very very good set for the price. They're sturdy, take abuse, haven't seen any signs of wear (the spanner ends haven't become enlarged and not fitting, not lost shape and they haven't broke or snapped. I was afraid of chinesium but it seems I've struck gold. You can get a mac tools or snap on set for 300 but this set, in terms of value for money, is by far the best I've come across - even if it isn't as pretty cosmetic wise. My only gripe is I was I could by a foam insert / modular tray to put in my toolbox as I hate wraps, but for these I will put up with it! I can't stress enough how happy I am with these spanners considering I'll use them pretty much every day as I am a professional in the automotive industry, not just someone working at home once in a blue moon. Well done Nielson, you may have a new regular customer.

I bought these to replace my Silverline tool set. The Silverline spanner’s were great, and lasted me for years without any issue, however the tool roll was deteriorating, and kept leaving blue bits every time I opened it up to use it. Then the tools started to break out of their cotton holders, and it became really annoying. The Nielsen spanner’s look very similar, but the tool roll is much more robust and looks like it will last much longer.

A very nice set of spanners, ideal for professional or domestic use, they are good quality, have a very good size range and value for money, I needed 2 spanners, a 20 and 27, it was only £12 more for me to buy a full tool roll, the good thing about a roll is you can see instantly which spanners are missing I have no hesitation recommending this set.

So disappointed the box these spanners came in was broken and crushed but had obviously been picked by Amazon like that as outer Amazon box was intact. The spanner's themselves look great and the roll they come in is very strong looking and quite heavy duty. I bought these for a present so the crushed box for me is a bit of an issue but so heavy to return not sure what I will do.
