Doughnut Cookbook: Top 50 Doughnut Recipes

Bought this alongside a ring doughnut maker for my 10 year old grandson for Christmas. He was in the kitchen making doughnuts the next day. Great book with loads of recipes. A little disappointed that there were no pictures.

Brought as a present, but it’s more of an information sheet than a book. So presentation is disappointing. Wish it had pictures inside other than just the front cover.

To me the book looks like it's been printed on a budget. The words look a little hazy, the cover almost looks like it's been cheaply laminated. It kinda has a newspaper sort of print to it. The contents completely lack any images which makes or breaks a good cook book in my opinion. Sometimes a person would like to make something eye catching, by the time you Google the image, you just as well Google the recipe. Amazon was great and it was delivered and refunded promptly.

The recipes were easy to follow and the doughnuts were fun to make. The results were delicious.

Overall a good cookbook, with easy to follow recipes. I did come across a problem with page 44, Dark Chocolate Doughnuts. The dough is dry and crumbly, so doughnuts didn't hold together. I'm thinking there is a wet ingredient missing. Any suggestions?

This recipe book has a good variety of donuts to try and was easy to follow and execute. I invested in a couple of small donut pans and have gotten good reviews from everyone who's tried the results. Great book!

I just now noticed that at the bottom of the description it says baked donuts. No pictures is also a disappointment for me. Guess that's why the price was so reasonable

This doughnut cookbook is GREAT, the recipes are simple, which is great for a 11 yr old baker ( for adults as well! )
