I purchased two Era 300 speakers and wanted to put them on the top of tall bookshelves. They perform well up there but the included power cords were just too short. These work out to be perfect with just a little extra length that's easily concealed behind the bookshelf. The two pack worked out perfectly as I had a pair of speakers to deal with.
