This controller rocks! I got this on a whim to see how well it would really work, and I have to say I'm pleasantly surprised! The lights are super pretty, especially when playing in the dark, and can be changed to multiple colors. The lights are bright too, so there's no pressure in playing in the dark. I'm also surprised by how long the battery life lasts. It stays charged for extended periods of time, way better than my switch pro controller. If you're on the fence, let this review tell you to take the jump! You won't regret it! Super cool controller at a pretty good price, what's not to like?

Super cute. Very nice quality, connected instantly to my switch, the fit in my hands is great, love the texture as it's easy to hold. The value for price is wonderful, the paltic thicker and great quality, the lights perfect, functions perfectly with the vibration and the lights. Would definitely recommend

Looks great, works great, price was great. The people complaining about button layout are likely confused; this is standard for a switch layout as it is a SWITCH PRO CONTROLLER knock off - not an Xbox. Xbox and ps5 controllers also have different mapping for their buttons so I’m so thrown off by all the negative comments specifically on the xyab button layout. Read before you buy people, it’s truly that simple. I have yet to connect this to my switch myself, but it works seamlessly on my iPad to make playing Minecraft with my son more comfortable and enjoyable for myself as I’m not big on mobile nor tablet gaming. Pairing it to my iPad took under a minute, I’ve had 0 issues with it so far. ☺️ it comes with a thick instruction manual to teach you all of the buttons and how to connect to your devices, charging cable was decently long as well, surprising quality from such a low price mark.

Visually and functionally better than a lot of default console controllers. It even works on my linux rig without any weird issues. Had to return it as one trigger started being irresponsive after the return period ended, but I'm hoping that's a one-off and I'm ordering another. Strong recommendation.

This controller is so cool! NGL.... I bought it for the kids..... Then ended up keeping it for myself.. no judgement ok? It connected easily to my OG switch, switch 2, and my Xbox series x, the colors aren't too bright, super pretty, my only gripe that it doesn't the systems when turning it on other than that heck ya this thing is cool! I like the button mapping so I don't keep forgetting where A and B is when switching to my Xbox lol. How long it will last? Idk in general it does feel cheap compared to a Xbox or switch controller but then again it was cheap Soooo... I'ma need to buy another so I can actually give it to the kids lol

Absolutely LOVE this controller already. Pairing was easy as plugging it into the switch dock and unplugging it. Button mapping is easy and quick to switch up depending on game. The lights are beautiful. I was worried it would look a little tacky but no, they are actually so pretty. Each color option is as stunning as the rest and the entire controller almost seems to shift slightly in color depending on the lights. It is a very light weight controller, which I really do not mind at all. The joystick range is a big broader than I was used to, but I easily adjusted within minutes. Just an overall solid controller. I have zero regret trying to save few bucks and going with this over replacing the Nintendo brand controller. I have owned the pro controller and simply put, this controller is a far better value than the Nintendo brand.

Love it. To be clear I don't play competitive games with a controller and primarily play on PC, so I'm not able to comment outside of that. However, it works great! Been using it for a couple months now and the joysticks and buttons are just like new. It seems very well constructed and sturdy. It doesn't feel cheap at all. Now, for the important part. It's so sick. It looks so cool. My friends are jealous. It's gorgeous. I think it looks even better in person than the pictures! I personally like the option where each little star is a different color, but it's easy to switch between the many single color options and that one. The single colors all look nice too. This sparks joy. I smile every time I pick it up. Pick joy and whimsy. Pick this star controller.

I bought this controller on 1-26-2025, recieved it on 1-27-2025, and today 1-28-2025, I'm getting ready to return this controller back to amazon. Inside the box this item came is an instruction manual in various languages. The manual gives basic instructions on how to use the controller (RGB Lighting config., Turbo button, syncing, etc.). Not bad, right? The problem is that if your vision isnt great, you're gonna be struggling to read the text on the manual. This company should throw in a mini magnifying glass for that tiny text they used. The controller itself looks great. Nice dark purple color on the top shell and black bottom half shell. The bottom part where the controller sits on your hands is textured for grip which works well. The RGB lighting effects look great and are easy to adjust. Pairing was simple at first but then ran into issues pairing after that. I paired this controller with two different devices. My PC via usb cable and my Nintendo Wii U via Bloopair. I used SuperStreet Fighter II on SNES to test this controller. Veteran gamers know that SF games requires consant button pressing and combinations, which include use of the D-pad for the combos. This type of play quickly identifies any defective buttons or funtions. When I tried to execute a Hadoken, my character would just slightly move forward then jump and strike. Same thing occurred when I attemtped to perform a Shoryuken. It also occurred when I tried to do the reverse motion of Hadoken for the Hurricane Kick. Using the left joystick helped with this somewhat, but these joysticks ARE NOT made for this type of play so that's not an option. Besides, even if the joystick did work perfect, it still leaves the D-pad defective. The ABXY buttons didn't respond immediately when pressed. In other words, there was a slight lag for all these buttons when pressed. Shoulder/ trigger buttons had the same issue. What good is a controller if it looks and feels great but doesnt function within it's intended purpose? That's like having a brand new, great looking car, but it doesn't drive and function properly. I mean picture it, someone see's this great problematic car you have and asks you, "Does it sound great?" . You betcha! "Is it comfortable inside?" Feels like a dream! "How fast does it go?" I don't know, I can't drive it because the steering is defective. I can only make hard left or right turns and the same goes for when Im in reverse. Common sense reveals here that this is unacceptable. The same applies to this controller. I would rather have a plain looking controller with no lights, no fancy design on it, no extravagant colors and extra features (Turbo fire, ability to program buttons, extra buttons, etc.). I would even buy an ugly looking one that functions flawlessly because I could always buy controller wraps, replace joysticks, buttons, etc., to enhance my controller to my liking. Overall, this is a poor alternative to a switch pro controller. If you found this review helpful in your decision purchasing a controller, please give it a thumbs up so that it's visible to more people. Also, this helps to make 1 out of 2 things happen. Either a company steps up and develops an improved version of their product that reflects the corrections made to it's flaws. Or people stop buying these poor quality products and they disappear from the market. Both are a better for you, the consumer.
