My daughter just texted me from band class and said that all these reeds broke immediately upon first use. No sound was coming out and she noticed the reed was split down the sides. They are junk.

I don't play the oboe so these are just based on what my daughter has told me. She said these reeds seem to work and sound better than the ones she has used in the past that we've ordered from Amazon. And they seem to last longer, will be reordering these.

Not great, I had to replace these within a week of purchasing. Splintered and broke, sounded horrible

Ordered these because of the price. All three were broken when arrived. Ordered replacements, all three broken again! So disappointed!

2 broke the second we tried to use them, the third hardly made a sound

These reeds are definitely not for beginners. They are extremely short and hard. We’ve tried soaking them for extra amounts of time and nothing seems to work. The oboe is obviously a hard instrument to begin with, but a reed should not be this hard to get to vibrate. I nearly had to bite it to make one squeak. That’s what I get for trying reeds from Amazon. I should have known better.

They don’t work. I wanted to return them but my dog chewed them and I couldn’t.
