interesting concept
the issue I have is when pairing, it registers as a mic and not a audio device(console); when unplugged you have to paired again to register it back(console) to audio source, price point feels a little to high, otherwise is pretty good.

Great sound quality, crappy microphone though
I bought the Final Fantasy version of the Soundslayer after getting a tad concerned about headphone dent. The audio is phenomenal, it's feels like actual surround sound. It has a lot of modes too, like "RPG", "FPS" Cinema", "Voice" and many more. It's comfortable, I thought I would need some time to adjust to something on my neck, but surprisingly it is very light and fits well on my neck. The only gripe I have about the Soundslayer is probably the microphone quality. Apparently according to my friends' feedback, it sounds like I'm really far away and muffled. Therefore, I suggest getting an external/additional microphone to use instead. For FF14 players out there wondering about this purchase, yes the sound quality is great even when playing the game. Personally I use the "RPG" mode, and even use it while raiding both savage and ultimate content. The surround sound is so good that I can actually pinpoint exactly where the boss mechanics are happening way better than my headphones. I also love that when you change the "mode", it plays out the job change sound as well.Overall, I'm quite pleasantly surprised, quite happy with my purchase, although the bad microphone quality is slightly a bummer.

Turned cat invisible (bottom one in pic)
Honestly the product works great (only haven’t tried mic feature). My only qualm with the headphones is when I put it on my cat (right where the arms meet the neck) for fun my cat vanished! It was like when Harry Potter puts on the cloak except I could see the headphones still. Obviously I got my phone camera out to take a video but when I took the headphones off my cat it was still invisible. I’m not sure if this is a natural phenomenon or my cat was cursed or something because I repeated the headphone thing (after at least 30 min of contemplation) with my dog and other cat with no results. My invisible cat (since renamed Casper) still eats, my other pets notice her, and I can tell she’s laying in her usual spots because the indent she makes so I’m not really that bothered by this whole ordeal (just have to be careful not to leave her outside). But yeah the headphones work great and as advertised.

Much better than I had expected
I honestly was not sure how high to raise my expectations on this but in the end I was pleasantly surprised. Its pretty lightweight, you almost don’t even feel it on neck and shoulders. The rubber pads on the bottom are a nice touch as well. Sound quality overall is good. It has preset gaming modes which are a noticeable change in EQ. Not entirely sure the built in mic quality since I haven't really used that much. The mute button and volume controls on the speaker themselves are a great feature as well. Sound is good, not amazing but not bad or unwearable either. With the volume maxed out things get a little muddy with the low ends mixing with the mids. At mid volume its a lot better though. I tend to find myself using this when I want more immersion in the game I’m playing but also need to be aware of whats going on in my home while I’m gaming. Overall a great option for game audio that I will continue to utilize.
