This Thing is AMAZING!
I purchased this for a trip I'm taking overseas later this summer. I am a coffee snob and I just can't tolerate bad coffee. I'm willing to take my own ground coffee with me, but as I am traveling to a more rural area in Europe, I'm not sure what services will be available in my hotel room. I received the Glueckzeit Portable Espresso Machine today and proceeded to try it out before my trip - it was everything that was promised and more. It was easy to operate, easy to clean and made the creamiest, most satisfying espresso - even better than the Moka pot I use daily (and I thought that was pretty good!). It was well worth the money paid. I would highly recommend!!!

Perfect for travel
Ive taken this with me on several flights carried on and checked in. I haven't had an issue. The functionality is wonderful and I believe it is well designed. I use original Nespresso capsules and it works perfect. The unit heats the water to the boiling point by simply holding the button down. Once hot, it will beep. You can then double press the button and it will pressurize force the water through the capsule. If you love Nespresso and travel often, this is a must have and tremendous value for the money. You'll love it when you wake up and can have your precious and beloved espresso!

Comparison with Outin Nano
One can make a cold or a hot brew. Using HOT water will decrease the brewing time. Apparently there are different models of the machine as described in the directions that come with the machine. There is only one model that is sold by Amazon as advertised, and it is the PCM03, rose gold ring. heating and extraction; at least that what was sent to me). The directions illustrate 2 basic models (PCM00 indicated by a grey ring just beneath the on-off extraction button), and another basic model (PCM01, silver ring), a vehicle model (PCMO2, golden ring, extraction only), and a versatile model (PCM03, rose gold ring. heating and extraction). The unit comes with a 1 type C cable. There is no type C vehicle heating cable supplied. The parts for capsule brewing, coffee grind brewing, and markings in the water chamber are identical to the Outin Nano machine. Both machines work in the same way, EXCEPT with the Glueckzeit, it is necessary to DETACH the drinking cup from the machine, and while holding the cup beneath the machine, push the extraction button to release the brew into the cup. This is unnecessary with the Outin Nano machine. The carry case for the Outin Nano is a separate purchase, whereas the Glueckzeit comes with a carry case included in the price. Both cases are molded to fit the machines and equally sturdy. The Outin Nano comes is different colors, the Glueckzeit is only available in black. The bottom line though, is the both machines make an equally great brew of hot expresso

Stopped working after 3 uses
DO NOT BUY! When I first received the machine I made myself a cup a cup of coffee at home to make sure it worked. The coffee was delicious and easy to use. I had specifically bought this for an upcoming trip to Florida so I could make espresso. On my trip the machine stopped working and instead of coffee I got brown water. The illy pods would not puncture fully so the water never ran completely through the grains. I tried several times and then the water stopped heating up. It’s past the returned date and I’m out $130. What a piece of junk. No one to talk to or ask questions. No warranty. Piece of junk.

El agua no salio y se inundo la maquina y dejo de funcionar
Last year I bought this product, which I started recommending to friends and family. Everything worked perfectly until one day, when I inserted a capsule, the coffee didn’t come out. The water went up instead of down and came out through the charging port. Since then, it has never turned on again and I haven’t been able to use it. What can we do? I miss taking the coffee maker camping, but I can’t get it to work again. I would appreciate it if someone from the team could contact me to let me know if it’s possible to replace the product with one in good condition. Thank you.

Works perfectly
I love my Nespresso and am not a fan of drip coffee. I was going on a cruise and wasn't going to pay for espressos everyday. Brought this along with me and it worked great! I went through about 40 pods over the week and it didn't have any problems. If you put hot water in it, the battery is barely affected. You could get tons of pods through it on one charge. If you do cold water a single charge will get you 3 or 4 cups depending on how much water and the temp of it. Great product, highly recommend. Haven't tried it with ground beans yet.

Great little product if you need an espresso anywhere. :)
Love this thing. If you’re a coffee nut and you’re going away and you don’t wanna leave your Nespresso or espresso at home grab this little device and it does it all very easily once you get used to it you love it. I don’t know who thought of this thing, but I like it and it definitely performs as advertised.
