Wow! Didn't think they would be this good at this price point!
We have several dogs. So we sleep with a large fan on in the bedroom both for the comfortability and to keep any noise down, either us waking up dogs, or dogs waking us up. And yes, first world problem, having to get up to turn the fan on and off. So I decided to try a smart plug, and this one had tons of good reviews. And the price was amazing. It came out to be about $5 per plug when I bought the 4-pack with a coupon that was offered. The setup was extremely easy. The app is great. On the app, you can label each plug AND put a photo of the item being controlled by that particular plug. Which I just think is very neat. Once you have it set up on the WiFi, and get the app set up, it's super easy to control everything. Also, you can set up an account on their app, then log into that account on other devices using the app, so you don't have to go through setting everything up. If you add a device, it will sync up between any devices you are logged into with the account. That made it easy, I just set it up, then installed the app on my beautiful girlfriend's phone and logged into it, and everything was ready for her to use.It says 15 amp capacity per plug, which is decent. I'm not sure I would try to test that capability. I think if you are trying to remotely control the power of any heavier-duty electronics, you should get a plug rated for higher than you plan to use. For example, we use ours for our large fan, which is only 3.5 amps, and lamps around the house.Overall, I was surprised at how well these plugs worked. The app is great. Connectivity is great. The price was great. I suppose the only detail that might detract from a more expensive smart plug is that these plugs only support 2.4Ghz WiFi. So if you don't have that running, you would not get the network connectivity. Other than that, this is an incredible product. Very happy with them. They are used every day, multiple times, with no issues whatsoever. Highly recommend these smart plugs.

Excellent Product, Highly Recommend for any Smart Home Set up, Control, or Energy Usage Monitoring
Honestly — these plugs blew me away. Truly plug‑and‑play, they connected seamlessly to Google Home and HomeKit right out of the box. Compact design, powerful Matter support, and affordable pricing make this 4‑pack a no‑brainer. Best part? The live energy monitoring is insanely accurate — I tracked energy consumption on a fan and server rack down to the watt.Full range Matter support, insanely fast set up, truly "plug and play" (no pun intended but seriously), an actual quality build (not cheap feeling whatsoever), low cost, good aesthetics, complete reliability, and small in size. -The absolute perfect combination for any smart home setup and a complete beast of a device. If you could only have one smart-home product, this should honestly be it. Controling your electronic devices and monitoring there exact energy consumption throughout there lifecycle phases is really the meat and potatoes of what a smart home should be- whether you want to set up complex automations, lower your energy bill and figure out what energy pig is raising your bill by fifty bucks a month (yes if you use these devices correctly one of them could actually pay for the rest very quickly in awareness by helping and more importantly providing consistent, 24/7 data to help you determine how much energy you are consuming with any given electrical device), or simply want to be able to use the responsive toggle feature from any location. WIth these plugs you can really make any antiquated device a smart device, and I am finding myself using them now even on some of my already "smart" devices to moniter energy consumption patterns.Couldn’t be happier — highly recommended for anyone wanting reliable, insanely fast, and energy‑aware smart plugs without breaking the bank.

Ok, but could use firmware refinement, also only 10Amp
These were easy to setup, but I missed that they are only rated for 10A output. This means if using for a space heater in the US you have to set the heater to less than Maximum (common heaters have 3 heat settings, with the middle one being about the 10 amp max).My less than 5 star rating is not aimed at my oversight, but rather these are a bit less reliable than previous Meross products. The Matter/Homekit setup was a breeze and after it was easy to add them to the Meross app and update them. Both devices seemed to have less robust Wi-Fi chips than previous smart plugs/switches from Meross. They will fall off the network randomly. The firmware update helped a bit, but they’ve got more optimizing to do.Around the time I added these, my network started crumbling. I removed them from the equation and didn’t seen an improvement so I spent weeks troubleshooting and added an additional AP and moved an existing AP further away. After the expansion, things stabilized everywhere. I do still see these plugs fall off from time to time even though nothing else does. I’m sure Meross will do what they can with the firmware; they have a decent track record of updates. My rating is based on how inconsistent Matter is, and that these are less robust than older non-matter products. That said, I wanted a smaller smart plug that didn’t break the bank that uses modern standards, and this fits the bill. Matter’s initial setup is easier than some Homekit devices; but figuring out how to use it with various platforms is confusing. We use Home Assistant, Apple Home, and Alexa.Alexa will not connect to these over Matter protocol unless you have at least one newish fancier Alexa device. I still have not tried Matter protocol with Alexa as the “Meross skill” auto detected the plugs and connected them via Meross’s cloud service. The same goes for Home Assistant: these can be connected in theory by Matter, but they got automatically detected by the Meross plugin (which requires cloud connectivity).Apple Home added them as Matter devices and they work most of the time locally even when the internet is down.I will likely buy more Eve Energy’s in the future. My wifi snafu right after buying these has me second guessing wifi for most home automation devices.I’d really like a matter over thread wall outlet with normal 15 or 18 Amperage that reports electrical use in a format supported by Home Assistant. Provided they could be made reliably enough (at least 10 years of use if not more) I’d replace most outlets in my house for the added utility.
