Cha4TEA 36-Count K Cups Assorted Green Tea for Keurig K-Cup Brewers (Matcha Green, Green Tea, Jasmine Green Tea, Oolong Tea)

I like each of the four teas better than the green tea pods commonly available in grocery stores. Although similar in taste to the store brand, these are smoother tasting. I also like that they are advertised to be useable twice. That may not be your “cup of tea” but I appreciate that the second cup has very nearly the same taste, albeit a bit lighter in color, as the first cup. I did remove the foil cover on top of these pods and the store-bought pods. These definitely have more tea in them.

When I went to open the box that these k-cups came in, little tiny gnats were falling out of the box onto my counter - a lot of them. When I would shake the box, more would fall out. Little tiny gnats don't really bother me but I did want to look into it a bit more. I dumped all of the k-cups out into another box. Sure enough lots of little gnats in the box and around the cups. I examined every single cup individually, rinsed them off and assessed them for holes, punctures, poor packaging, loose foil etc. Every single cup was in tact with nothing indicating that there would be gnats inside the cups. I then brewed a cup of the Matcha without committing to drinking it yet lol. After brewing it, I opened up the cup and emptied it onto a plate and sifted through it to see if anything besides tea leaves were in it. I let it dry overnight and examined it later. No sign of bugs whatsoever. I know you'll think this might be crazy but I drank the tea and it was great. I am keeping the product and will use it because I think it was just the box. I got rid of it post-haste because there were still lots of gnats hanging around but the tea appears to be just fine. As for the cups they're fine. Just what I expect. Great tasting tea in a k-cup. I like the variety and am excited to try them all. I'll update if I find weirdness down the line.

I am not a coffee drinker so on cold days hot tea is great. I purchased these because they where inexpensive and looked like some teas I would enjoy. I am a big fan of matcha and green teas already. However after having tried them all I can say I am feeling lukewarm about the purchase. I did find I really enjoyed the jasmine tea, but the other flavors while ok, where not as much to my taste. Other people, I have shared them with loved them however. So it really seems to be a personal choice thing. For me personally I will try some other brands with similar flavors going forward. I might circle back in time, but they where not quite what I was looking for.

My husband loves the Jasmine. His least is the otto. Otherwise he likes them. He said he would buy these. I will probably drink the one he doesn't like. He said the strength is well balanced. They are easy to use with the Keurig. The variety is good. They were in his watch list so I bought them for him.

Order this specifically for the matcha green tea, was not what we expected. Expected it to be more like milk style tea mix, but probably my mistake.

I was disappointed that I wasn't able to just order the Jasmin Tea on it's own, like I've done in the past.

I'm loving that I can get tea in K-Cups now.
