Q: What is the diameter of the circular magnet and strike plate?

Cabinet Magnets have a diameter of 15mm

Q: How strong is the magnet? I don't understand "poundage". Need to keep cat out of lower cabinets without breaking fingernails opening cabinet doors.

They are strong but will not stick using double sided tape, provided. The screws unless you can get them in perfectly straight and flat will otherwise cause the magnets not to work. I even tried a really strong glue and they still came off. To bad but I just removed them and threw away.

Q: Would like to assume 16 magnets come with the option D15-16. Can anyone confirm the quanity for the D15-16 option?
