The people on the other end like it more than me, I do like it!
This is my 2nd Anker brand, first one being the 2K version, and I thought why not pay extra money and get the latest 4K one. I'm not really into web cams and just use them out of necessity, and my customers now say that I come in crystal clear. For me it just a device sitting there on top of my monitor, so I forget about it being there. The build quality feels solid and heavy in my hands, and it doesn't feel cheap at all compared to others I've owned in the past. Operations wise, the camera can go for hours on end without a hiccup or blimp on the screen, so that says something about it's thermal signature and data transfer rate. I like the red privacy shutter, compared to to those hinged caps that cover the lens. Installation was thoughtless and it just hooked up like it had been there for years already. To me, this is a no frills web cam that just works like military equipment, that is durable and rugged day in and day out. Maybe it's not the best, but it's not the worse by any means and it was money well spent. As far as all those features go, I don't really use them at all but did refine the zoom, lighting and other stuff via my Operating System interface, and that was it, pretty much set and forget for me. My shopping experience for buying another web cam was littered with hundreds of options from many manufactures, and it got to the point where I just settled for this one and hoped for the best, and I wasn't disappointed. If your reading this, you might of hit web cam shopping overload like I did after an hour, and your looking to just pick something decent right now at the right price point and get it over with, that's what this camera is. I gave it 5 stars for it's build quality, reliability, thermal signature, data transfer rate, and ease of use compared to others in the same price range.

Crystal clear video
I needed a new webcam that provides clear 4k video but doesn't break the bank, and this was it. Anker AnkerWork C310 is a durable webcam that fits securely on my monitor. The camera only turns on when the privacy shutter is open and is a must have these days. The 4K video feed was sharp and bright, and the AI Auto Focus does a good job of focusing on the subject. The built-in mic has good reception, but I am unsure about its capability to filter out background noise. When installing this, ensure it is plugged into a USB 3.0 or USB-C port due to the data rate requirements of 4K video. I am sure it will work plugged into a regular USB 2.0 port, but if you are buying this for great video quality, then it needs to be set up right. It does get a little warm once it is going, but that is normal. Overall, this is a great product for anyone who is in the market for a 4K webcam.

Great webcam with some quibbles
I bought this to replace my C200, not because it was broken but because of the AI Auto Framing. Pros: The AI framing works very well! The mics in this webcam are also the best I've heard in a webcam and allowed me to retire a standalone mic for just this webcam. The mic noise reduction seems to work very well too. Image quality is excellent. I run 60 frames and it looks even better than the C200, which was my previous favorite webcam. The autofocus doesn't seem to work well in anything other than very bright light. Hopefully they will fix that in a firmware update. Cons: HDR makes my image universally darker and unusable. I leave it off, and the webcam works fine. The mount is a big step back from the C200. It looks identical, but does NOT offer any front to back adjustment. So you can't tilt it back and forth, the mount is rigid. It's very odd and a really dumb cost cutting move. This can be a deal-breaker for some. Because it looked identical to the C200 mount, I even contacted support to ask if mine was broken or that's how it is. It took *2 weeks* for them to come back and say that's how it is manufactured.

Exceptional Webcam for Professional Use
The AnkerWork C310 Webcam has significantly enhanced my video conferencing experience. Its sound quality is outstanding, thanks to the AI noise-canceling microphones that ensure clear audio even in noisy environments. The webcam's seamless compatibility with Microsoft Teams and other platforms makes it a reliable choice for professional meetings. Visually, the webcam delivers impressive color accuracy, producing vibrant and true-to-life images. Its performance in low light conditions is commendable, maintaining clarity without the need for additional lighting. The auto focus feature is responsive, keeping the subject sharp and in focus throughout the session. Overall, the AnkerWork C310 combines advanced features with user-friendly design, making it a top-tier choice for anyone seeking a high-quality webcam.

Works great with M5 MacBook Pro
I use this with my M5 MacBook Pro and MS Teams (plus other software). While the built-in camera is great, the angle is not so great for sales and business meetings. I often like to have an external camera I can position for the best shot using a small, extendable tabletop tripod. This has been working great. I did purchase a USB-C to USB-C cable to get maximum throughput in 4K.

Great value and impressive image quality!
I've had this product for three months now, and it is fantastic! My computer links to it flawlessly, and most importantly, the video image quality is great. I have a Sony DSLR camera, but I use the Ankerwork C310 Webcam for my daily video calls because it won't overheat over extended timeframes. I use the DSLR exclusively for filming my YouTube content. Frankly, the video quality of this webcam is remarkably close to that of a DSLR, which is impressive given that my Sony ZV-1 costs $ 500 more. You will not be disappointed with this webcam. No webcam can overcome bad lighting, so make sure your lighting is on point and have fun with it. I also love the manual privacy cover. The app that makes the setup a breeze and customization easy. Trust me, this product is a tremendous value for the money. I cannot tell you about the mic because I use a Shure microphone for that functionality.

A great 1080P cam, but can't actually do 4K (UPDATE - absurd cable requirements)
UPDATE MAY 2025: After I posted my review, Anker issued a full refund. I did some more digging and believe I found the issue. This camera is EXTREMELY fussy about what cables it will behave with. I tried multiple high-end USB-C 3.1 cables from multiple well-respected cable manufacturers, including Anker. I even tried the included cable. I have tried every possible combination of cables and laptops / desktops at my disposal. I have tried directly connecting to the motherboard and I have tried powered USB 3.1 hubs. All failed. All would only work in 1080P, and would give that weird message about "4K not available in USB 2.0". The ONLY thing that will make this work in 4K is some no-name USB-C cable that was bundled with some other product. I thought this must have been pure chance, so I repeated my test and I am able to reproduce these results consistently. High-end, name-brand, USB-C 3.1 cables, including the one that ships with the camera? 1080P only. No-name USB-C cable of unknown origin? 4K. So at best, this is EXTREMELY fussy about what cables will work. Normal 100 Mb rated cables from reputable manufacturers, including the one that ships with the camera, won't work. ORIGINAL REVIEW: Like so many other reviewers, I have had nothing but frustration with this camera. 4K? Nope, 1080P only. Lossless mode? Nope, compressed stream only. I have now tried three different PCs: two laptops and a desktop, all with USB 3.1 ports, both USB-A and USB-C. I have tried multiple high-quality cables from multiple name-brand vendors with high power ratings, including the bundled Anker USB-A to USB-C cable. I have tried with and without the AnkerWork software. I have tried deleting the camera out of Device Manager and reinstalling. I have tried every possible combination of cables, desktop / laptop, and ports. Out of sheer frustration, I also tried a powered USB 3.1 hub. No matter what I do, the camera is locked to 1080P, compressed. Options for 4K and lossless are greyed out. The camera whines that "you can't use 4K on a USB 2.0 port or while in portrait mode or at 60 FPS". But I'm using a USB 3.1 port. I'm not in portrait mode, because I can't turn it on. And I'm only at 30 FPS. Every possible combination of cables and hardware gives the same result. Just for fun I pulled out an old Windows 10 laptop with USB 3.0 ports. The camera simply failed to power up. I give up. This makes an okay 1080P camera, but at 2x - 3x the cost. My old Anker 1080P cam never gave me any problems, but this thing is a fussy nightmare of frustration and sadness. It's a trainwreck of a camera that should never have been released.

Camera aspect great, lots of issues with the mic
I purchased this camera primarily for the "AI" audio aspects, to reduce background noises when I forget to turn it off. We use Google meet at work and it doesn't always do a great job at blocking out audio (or, at least, I can't tell if it does because my image lights up if I make the slightest noise). I also liked the idea of a better image in low-light because I get migraines and sometimes like to keep the lights a little lower. The visual aspect is great, it's a definite improvement over my previous $40 webcam that I purchased during lockdowns. The audio, however, has not been so great. I've had issues with feedback and with audio not working at all, having to either unplug the camera or reboot my laptop. The AnkerWork software is annoying because it randomly has an advertisement popup for other Anker gear and half of the softwares function is to point you to more anker gear (you provide your workspace setup and it suggests things to buy). I paid for the camera, I don't need bloatware just to update or change camera settings. I have had people complain about my audio in multiple meetings which is a bit embarrassing and feels unprofessional. I'm going to give the camera a week and see if I can get the issues ironed out, otherwise it's going back and I'll use my old cheap cam which worked fine. If things improve with the camera, I'll update my review. Note: I would give this 3 stars except this is marketed as a work camera with ai sound features. That alone warrants an additional start off.
