I'm a 60-yr-old guy who just wants to lose weight and get fit again so I wanted a fairly basic rowing machine that didn't cost a fortune. After reading the favourable reviews for this BTM machine I decided it was the one for me, and I'm really pleased I went for it! It arrived quickly and well packaged, and was very easy to assemble on my own (no real need for two-person assembly as stated) in about an hour using the very clear instructions. I'm really impressed by the quality at this price point - the frame is very sturdy (steel and aluminium), the seat is solid but well padded, and the magnetic rowing mechanism is very smooth. I've got no previous experience of rowing machines but this feels really good to me. The action is silky smooth and quiet - the seat even has nylon rollers meaning it glides almost silently up the frame. It was also easy to set up the footrests so I was rowing comfortably straight away!The machine is easy to fold away when not in use. The digital readout is fairly basic but it does the job (once you've fitted some AA batteries), and I wouldn't expect any more at this price.All in all, a great little rowing machine for very little money. Highly recommended.

This rowing machine is fantastic. I used to row a long time ago and since developed back trouble so can't do many of my other weights or exercises so decided to buy this rower. I've only been using it for 3 days a week Mon, Wed & Fri in order to allow my muscles to recover and I'm on my second week. I've started slowly on level 2 as I've had two shoulder operations, but will slowly build up. Can feel an improvement in my arms already, legs and stomach will take a while!! It was easy to put together with two of us the only thing which was quite tricky was fixing the aluminium plate cover (black plastic) to the slide rail. Tried every possible way even tapping it with a hammer but to no avail, then we thought of putting both the pieces of plastic into a bowl of boiling water for a few seconds. Voila!!! Managed to slip them into position no problem.

Generally this seems like a good machine. Very quiet and of sturdy build. I am 6ft with a 32" leg and can fully extend with space to spare. Very smooth motion and a good amount of friction can be added. Very easy to assemble with all the tools you need and a easy to follow step by step guide. All the parts are separated by which step you are on.Biggest downside was quality control - See the photo. There is bubbling under the paint which I expect will peal off very soon.The plastic feet mean is slips about in use when used on laminate floor. I'm going to see if I can get some rubber feet for it to maybe stop this, but if on carpet I am sure it would be better.Screen is very cheap and nasty. Don't expect any meaningful info from it, and a little hard to understand what the figures you are seeing relate to. Not insurmountable though.It's also blooming heavy to move around but that's not entirely a bad things considering how it's used.Time will tell on it's durability.

Bought to replace a much more basic rower and the difference is brilliant! I was quite happy with my old basic model but when that needed replacing, thought I would upgrade a little. Not quite the same as you would get in the gym but not far off! Definitely makes you work harder and gives you a better workout...I have noticed the difference! The various resistance settings suit everyone in the household from pre-teen to teen to male and female adults. Everyone is making use of it! Sturdy machine, feels robust and not too difficult to assemble. I did it myself in about an hour (I’m the lady of the house!) with no problems and the way the kit is laid out is great; it has each set of nuts/bolts separated and tells you for which stage of the assembly they’re for...super easy, no sorting out required! Would definitely buy again and would recommend.

This product is excellent for the price. I recently purchased this rowing machine after reading all the reviews I took a chance after searching through endless machines and I wasnt disappointed. It a brilliant rower and it's just as good as the rowers iv used in the gym.I was worried about building it but me and my teenage son managed it no problem only took us half a hr as it is only putting about 8 pieces together. Everything was nearly packaged and when built up it can be folded up to save on space as my house isnt that big.It has 8 levels on it and I'm really enjoying using it as the resistance on it is very good .Its now part off my daily workout routine so I cant recommend this product highly enough.

Had this fir a few months now and it is a fantastic piece of kit.It is very quiet if you want to use it in your house. Although you'll need a large room as it is a very long machine. You can easily fold it uo to save the space again.It being long it woukd be perfect fir tall people.The ristsance levels give a great range my teenage daughters use level1-2 and I use level 5 working on getting to 6 and there is more to go for proper beast mode workouts.Solid well built and really nice smooth action of the seat which is also comfortable.Really happy with this in my home gym.

I used a rowing machine regularly at my local gym, the concept 800 which is standard. I moved recently so no longer able to visit the gym and there is nowhere local that’s convenient. I needed to bring up my general fitness after a recent heart attack. A rowing machine is a good all over body work out that will get your heart pumping. Ok this is not in the same league as the concept, however, for a home gym this fits the bill. The magnetic resistance works well on this machine which gives a good work out and enables you to progress your fitness. For the price this is an excellent value machine. I like the fact that it’s almost silent in use and can be tucked out of the way.. it was easy to assemble and the quality seems excellent for the price.
