I l have tried many different brands of "minimalist" wallets. I put minimalist in quotes because some of these brands are trying to pass off a wallet as minimalist that has no business bring classified as such. Other brands claim minimalist but in reality, absolute bare bones minimal would be a better way to describe their product. This wallet can be described as minimalist but just barley. You can fit 12 cards in this wallet and anything beyond that should not even be considered as minimalist. I was just trying to slim down my wallet but still maintain functionality when I bought this wallet. It does an outstanding job at doing just that. It is very well built with a combination of metal and leather. The leather helps soften the feel that all metal wallets have and I appreciate how the leather puts this wallet in an upper class segment. If you are trying to slim down an over stuffed two fold wallet, choosing which 12 cards make the cut and what is so important that you must carry it with you at all times can and will be traumatic. All that came before you have already been down that road but if you think trying to choose 12 cards will be hard, try having to choose only 6. 12 cards is a good livable number and once you finally have your new wallet properly populated, you will find that this wallet is a joy to use and carry. It is hands down the best wallet I have ever owned and after 7 months of daily use, it still looks as good as the day I unboxed it. Try saying that about a two fold wallet.

I love this wallet. It covers all my needs. Small enough for front pocket carry has nice card placement. The card holder mechanism works great with smooth cards. I haven’t tried embossed cards. It also came with a lifetime warranty, which I didn’t notice it had. That was a pleasant surprise. Real leather and it looks nice, maybe goat leather, looks and feels durable.

This wallet is the best purchase I made in the past year. I bought almost one year ago, and it gets daily use. It looks almost new still. I have never had a wallet wear this little in a year. Clip holds solid, cards still stay inside. Mechanism for raising cards works flawless. Fully worth the 35$, I would buy again, but it will be a long time.

Love the money clip. I'm able to fit all of my needed credit cards. The quality of the case is good. It's very convenient to carry.

I have had about 5 wallets now and this one is the best by far, can hold around 15 bills which is vary use full. The durability is amazing. As well as it was not as expensive as some of the wallets I have bought in the past.

I bought one of these for my husband who has been carrying around a huge lump of a wallet his whole life. I am a woman who does not like purses and prefers pockets and have always had slim wallets like the Umbra Bungee (one of my favorite) or the ridge like wallets. He loved the wallet and I was quite impressed with the quality and the ease of use, so I bought one too. First off, it is much easier to use than the band style and is very much like the old Umbra bungee but fits more and no bungee to wear out. Second, it’s just built well. No weird seams or imperfections. Functions perfectly. My only complaint after using it a month was the money clip. My husband loves the clip and it is sturdy, but I don’t like it . The great thing is, it is easily removable with just two screws. A provided screw driver makes it easy. I could put it back without a big deal if I decide to. Changes nothing aesthetically either. There are also two spots on each side where you can attach it to a lanyard or put a wallet chain on it. I think this is the best wallet I have owned. I have had no issues with the card eject slider but I am not sure if a back pocket use would be good. My husband does keep it at the back and his is working fine after having it for about five months. Seems sturdy.

I purchased this wallet recently mainly because I wanted to see what these "modern" wallets were all about. It does it job and at my age and with my needs, it seems to work for what I need it to. I do like the clip. I can clip it in my shirt pocket and drive on. I do feel that this is gimicky and in my opinion toy like. While it works and does what it is supposed to do, I would like it to be built to a higher quality. It looks nice, it functions as a wallet, but it feels cheapish. like it don't love it.
