Fantastic gadget
This appliance does exactly what it claims to do. It is very easy to use, small and compact but the end results are amazing. Professional looking sausage rolls cooked to perfection. I'm quite new at making pastry, so thickness is a bit of trial and error, but every one turned out great. Two tubes of sausage meat resulted in 24 sausage rolls. Would highly recommend.

Does what it says on the tin
Easy to use and simple to clean. Don't just stick to making sausage rolls you can also make apple pies and all sorts. I would recommend this item

Is ok for the price
Would be better if it came with a cook book as had to guess how much pastry and sausage meat to use, also needs some kind of drip tray as the fat leaked all over the side

Great sausage roll maker
Makes great sausage rolls and apple slices. The only problem is that the grill plates are not removable to wash the machine thoroughly. All the butter from the pastry goes inside the machine whilst cooking is in process. Then you have to undo screws to be able to clean it properly. Would be better if the plates were removable or a complete sealed unit.

Not as good as it's made to look.
I tried the Sausage roll machine ...... once! I've made my own SR's for years, always up for making life easier. This failed on all levels. Difficult to lay the pastry on, difficult to get the right amount of filling in and difficult to put the top layer of pastry. It cooked reasonably well, but pastry was hard. After cooking the rolls it was difficult to get them out and then difficult to clean the heating plates. Hope someone at out local charity shop isn't charged too much when the buy it!
