We're a Lego family!
Got this as a gift for our great-grandchild, who is 16 months. We've long been a Lego family and wanted to get started early with some Duplo blocks. Never disappointed with Lego products!

Nice stocking stuffer
It’s a nice stocking stuffer but definitely not needed if you got your LO the larger sets or they already have those. I still love it though!

Duplo Excellent As Always, But . . .
Wish they'd included step-by-step instructions. Yeah, I know, you or I can build the fish by simply looking at the picture. But my 3-year old granddaughter loves "step by steps" as she calls my advanced Lego assembly instructions for other models. It would enhance the educational value of the Duplo product to be helping little kids to think in an orderly manner, tackling a larger project by breaking it down into numbered steps.

Good for littles
It was perfect for my niece who's 2 but she really wanted directions like her older siblings Legos. So in that aspect it wasn't better.

The fish is so fun to make and easy way to add a few more blocks to any builders collection!

Can't beat LEGOS
I keep a little basket of DUPLO blocks in my car for trips around town. These keep our 2 year old grandson occupied and happy.
